DD looks to be out.

Jeremy Fowler
ESPN Staff Writer
OG David DeCastro said his right hand fracture is more serious than originally thought. The injury felt “crunchy” in-game but he played through it. “I could play a game (without practice),” DeCastro said. “I'm old enough now. We'll see how it goes. We're taking it day by day. We'll see how the swelling goes."

Not practicing Wed:

Coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger may be limited early in the practice week due to an elbow injury. On Wednesday, Roethlisberger didn’t practice at all.
He hinted at the possibility in a midweek session with reporters, attributing the likely absence to a veteran’s day off. Regardless, he was listed on the official report as not practicing, with the designation of an elbow injury.

Also not practicing on Wednesday was guard David DeCastro, who has a fractured hand. Likewise, defensive lineman Tyson Alualu (shoulder), cornerback Joe Haden (hamstring), and defensive lineman Cameron Heyward (knee) missed practice.
The Steelers open their home schedule on Sunday with a visit from the Chiefs.

Decastro will play, just with a brace.

The good news is McDonald was a full go. Hopefully he can go again tomorrow.

I think Haden is looking at a week off.

Sensible option to me re DeCastro and Haden is sitting them. McDonald? We´ll see today and tomorrow. Fingers crossed that he is ok for Sunday.

I assume Ben will play. If not, begs the question why he would have been out there still slinging against the Browns.

Seriously? One game and now dobbs, who hasn't seen one NFL snap is going to start? Fuckin' A. I never would have imagined.

And no, I'm not calling for landry. Although I hear he's at his local church mopping the nave.

And does anybody by chance know which play BR injured his elbow? Was it the penalized late hit or was it later?

Looks like Old McDonald is going to play. Practiced two days in a row, a record.

Great, so now he's fatigued.

We need an over/under on how many quarters before he goes back down. I say midway through the 3rd.

You guys are hilarious. Me? I am expecting a 100 yard game and 1 TD from McDonald.

You are a fountain of optimism Scunge. Old Mcs record says otherwise.

And THEN a hammy tweak on a meaningless play when the game is no longer in question.

How accurate and effective he'll be is the question.

Jeremy Fowler
ESPN Staff Writer
JuJu Smith-Schuster said he expects Ben Roethlisberger to be "out there playing with your boys" Sunday vs. the Chiefs.

Head coach Mike Tomlin said, via Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com, that Roethlisberger was a full participant in practice as the team closed their week of preparations for the Chiefs. Tomlin didn’t offer any further comment and said the injury report would provide any other update on the quarterback’s status.
Whatever the designation, his return to action Friday seems like a pretty good sign that he’ll be playing against Kansas City. The outlook for cornerback Joe Haden and right guard David DeCastro is less clear after they missed practice this week.

That could happen, of course. And then he´ll tweak his knee..

It could happen. 2 catches for 18 yards, one td, and 82 yards on the cart as he's taken into the locker room.

The eternal optimists, Scunge and B2B.

How do you guys do it week in and week out?

I need some guidance, because if we lose this game tomorrow I think it will be a downward spiral with all the drama.

I'm putting this entire game on Ben. The KC defense sucks, Ben is at home coming off a disaster of a game. He needs to earn his fucking money.
