Coming to Pittsburgh on Saturday for first home game ever. My daughter got us tickets for bday. I'm trying to find our seats on steeler website. Section FFZ SR1 seat 29 standing room only. Where exactly is this in the stadium? Thanks for any help given.

In the "open" end of the stadium, just below the video screen.

Ive been to a lot of games at both Heinz and Three Rivers - Heinz fails.

It’s much nicer granted, but the energy is considerably lower. I wish they would have modeled it after the Seahawks Stadium. That stadium only holds 69K but sounds like 200K.

Don’t mean to rain on your parade dude - enjoy, hope they put on a great show for you!

And I did the standing room only tickets to that Jaguar game earlier in the year.
:(

Tuff to view game from open plaza.
Especially if you don't grab a spot by the railing.
Watching the game Standing behind someone at the railing is not good. Unless you are 6'-4"+

Better spot is grabbing a railing on one of the exit ramp rotundas.
Closeer to the upper deck is better, as you are higher and have better odds of grabbing an open seat or two in the upper levels

Enjoy your first time.....you never forget your first visit

Bettie's is real close to the stadium and a good spot for a beverage before heading in.....

Also consider reading STD's Guide to Steeler Pregame, although he's never actually gone to a game.

Bettis's, particularly for a night game, will be jam-packed early....might be tough getting in.

For the good news though....Sunday night, vs. compromised opponent, bound to be plenty of empty seats that you could slide into.

Park downtown at one of the $8 lots or garages, walk over the Clemente Bridge....saves you $$, great walk over, and makes for much easier exit.

Headed up there this Sunday.

First ever NFL game.

Thanks to the members for the tips.

Hope the team sends me home with a W to remember.

Well this is a hell of a game to be the first go. The late start should make for a great tailgate and a frenzied crowd as long as it is not insanely cold.
