Even Fury looks like he's off to the best start in years.

That's what free agent signings and a loss by the Pats will do for a SF fan.

50th straight season opener. Let's get first one today. The division that runs through society is running through the league. The league needs a good finish, needs the great sport of football to rise above the differences and bring a wide spectrum of fans back for the SB. Cowboys Steelers 4th SB would do that. OT would memorialize it.

Any one think Mitchell will take the majority of the snaps at FS? I'm really hoping he isn't just handed the starting job after basically missing the whole offseason.

Dude really isn't the greatest tackler to begin with.

At Pittsburgh: Steelers lead, 43-21
At Cleveland: Browns lead, 37-21

Mitchell was damn solid last year. If he's heathy he plays every snap.

Also don't expect Dupree to play. When is the last time a non-QB missed the Friday practice and played Sunday? Chick will get the start, Harrison and Moats will work their ways in.

We must have watched different games - I thought Mitchell was hot garbage. He'd be a lot better if he actually wrapped up and tackled instead of going for the big hit every time, and often bouncing off of players (or hurting our own guys).

No one on the coaching staff would agree with that.

I just hope that PIT takes CLE seriously and does not just assume that because they are the Steelers and CLE is the Browns and Ben is 20-2 vs them that it will just all work out.

This is a big season for the Steelers and there cant be any "F-ups" like losing to CLE. I would assume that one of the main goals of the the team is to get home field advantage so that IF they have to play NE, it will be in PIT. Well to do that , the guys HAVE to take care of bidness in games like today. Games like this scare me cause I just wonder about the teams' focus. LeVeon hasnt played with the offense this season yet and things could be ugly until they get in a groove.

And with THaley's strange playcalling at times, who the heck knows how things will go today?

Here's to the D getting to the rookie Kizer and setting the tone and then Ben and Co putting up 30+ pts and getting the 4th quarter off.

I guess I havent been following closely enough, but what is wrong with Dupree? Did he play much in the preseason? Is it a bad injury?

**just read that its his shoulder. Hope he can get back soon.

That definitely seems off.

21 + 21 does not equal 58

Maybe it's the "new" math?

43 + 37 seems off as well.

Don't know how much of this game I'll see beng in South Florida but we can't piss around with this young Browns team.

Attack them early and often.
