Whether this is true or not, the Pats would have probably scored. Atlanta served the game on a silver platter, etc.

Nonetheless. There is convincing evidence that was not a touchdown.

I thought he was down but we got no review announced even though the Pats were expecting it

Review was probably like we saw in SB43, but officially people will opine it didn't matter

It would have been 4th down and a fg and the game maybe continues

I'm not sure what that photo shows...the black circle may or may not be the football, but the replay during the game showed with very little doubt that he scored.
And I could be wrong, but I thought the TD came on a first down play.

Agree, it would have made a difference.
Also, If Atlanta had won the coin toss and won it on the same play, would Pats fans have pointed to this kind of photo evidence. Of course.

Biggest mystery is how they handled this replay. Play was on second down, not third down. Brady threw a quick fade to Bennett that was nicely broken up.

If the refs were at all competent they would have commanded everyone stay on the sideline until the took a look. I didn't think he was in.

This is a photo still from a video. That is the football. I didn't create the photo, that's above my paygrade. Here is an article which includes the video.

Sorry man...I've seen the video, several times. The ball crossed the plane without a doubt. This is just Falcons fans crying over their spilled milk. Pats won fair and and square. It sucks, but is what it is...

Show us the 3rd and one pass play from the 21 yard line. That determined the winner. Hell they could have tried the FG on third down.

Nah, i just looked at it several times. The super slow mo kind of confirms it. But heck, it's a scripted league men and women.

If we all agree with it, then lets hope we get our next turn on the podium for league coffer's sake 8-)

The Falcons were done. Even if they just kicked a FG there the game was over. I didn't even watch overtime. Only shot they had was to stop the 2 point conversion.

You couldn't be more batshit crazy.

You can't script a league with this many players, coaches, etc. involved. A disgruntled employee would out the league,

So annoying people believe this shit, lol.

So they would have had to stop them again from the one inch line, maybe twice?

Yeah, like the Pats weren't winning this one anyway.

this circled part is his upper arm, not the football. You can see White's hand on the other side of the black sock, and just above the circled area is the white from his shoulder pad/jersey.

They showed the replay during the game, he was clearly in. this fuzzy picture screams of butt hurt. Pats weren't losing the game at that point no matter what. Atlanta was the walking dead.

Rewatched the game last night. It boggles my mind how the Falcons coaching staff could be so fucking stupid. Taking nothing away from the Patriots, but they really should open an opponent MVP wing at Patriot Place and induct Dan Quinn, Pete Carroll and Marty Schottenheimer as charter members.

Go back to the series where they tied the game up. It was 3rd and 11, and Brady hit Mitchell for the first down, even after he slipped and got up. I could have sworn that the replay showed the ball went through his hands and hit the ground, but they cut the replay off real fast. If anyone has the game and can watch that catch, let me know if he caught it or not. I might have been hoping too much and my eyes saw what they wanted to see.
