Well,my Cavs made it back! This is the 3rd year in a row, the rubber match series.

GSW will be the heavy favorite with the addition of Durant, but ya never know.

The depth of talent in the NBA is atrocious. Couple that with the fact that the NBA's top stars are concentrated on only a handful of teams, and you get an extremely boring playoffs.

No offense to you, Cody, but to me Cavs' fans are in the same boat as Nashville - they were among the worst in the league as far as attendance and TV ratings when Lebron wasn't there, yet they talk as much shit as any fan base i've seen. It gets irritating.

No offense taken because I've always been a Cavs fan.

I was raised Steelers, Pens, Pirates and OSU for college sports.

I always liked basketball but my family doesn't watch the NBA, so I rooted for the Cavs.

NBA is so inferior to the NHL

At the beginning of the season only three NBA teams had a chance.

At the beginning of the hockey season arguably 20 or so NHL teams had a chance.

The playoffs thus far in NBA have been horrid, except maybe BOS WAS

Yeah, I'm not exactly confident after that one.

The Cavs had no answer for Durant and the bench was invisible. We shall see though. I didn't think they would overcome being down 3-1 last season either.

Well, the Warriors didn't have KD last year, so that's reason to worry.

Two obvious takeaways from last night:
- Wow, the Cavs were sloppy with the ball last night. Clean that shit up.
- Does Cleveland have anyone who can play interior defense? KD had 5 or 6 dunks in the first half, and Golden State's centers were a combined 7/9 from the floor. Points in the paint was the most lopsided stat from last nights game, outside of turnovers

Cleveland needs Tristan Thompson to go into beast mode in the paint. And yeah, the turnovers were ridiculous starting with LeBron. The Cavs can play much better and I think make this a series.

The only positive is that the Cavs were also down 0-2 last time.

KD is a monster though, and LeBron can't beat the machine that is the Warriors all by himself.

The NBA is now terribly uncompetitive, and the Warriors may win another three or four titles before the decade is over barring injury to Steph or Durant.

Charles Barkley commented at the Preds game how much better hockey was in playoff viewing.

The suspension of Green in addition to officiating that was really biased in favor of Lebron really helped in coming back from 3-1 last year.

I know it's easy to point to officiating and say it evens out but I distinctly recall those last few games last year where you couldnt as much look at Lebron without it drawing a foul. To the point he would foul and yet it would get called as an offensive foul in GS.

No way they come back this year. GS just too loaded with the addition of Durant.

If the Cavs steal game 5 (highly doubt it) there's gonna be some tight sphincters in GS!

Very true!

LeBron did all he could, too much firepower. Hell, the Cavs scored a shit ton too, just don't have the depth. Had they won game 3 it would probably have gone 7 games.

This GS team is probably the best I've ever seen. They're young, and if they keep that team together several more years they should win at least two more rings. The Cavs will need to add another serious player to beat them.

Congrats to the Cavs from keeping GS from being the first to run the table, but they were fairly easily handled in 3 of the 5 games.

Tristan Thompson got out rebounded by Curry and was largely invisible on the scoreboard.

That alone tells you how little help LBJ has on the boards. When Love and Thompson aren't on the glass, the Cavs are up shit creek against GS. Dream scenario would be a trade involving Tristan Thompson for Boogie Cousins or Paul George, but TT's contract is awful.

The NBA is unwatchable and is garbage compared to the NHL because of major competitive imbalances.

The Dubs are 1:2 FAVORITES to win the title next year.

The Pens are 8:1 and they are the highest ranked team.

Three teams in the NBA can win the title in 2018, hypothetically 22 or so NHL teams can.

It is, but that was an entertaining final. GS is fun as hell to watch. I'm just in awe of their 3-pt bombs.
