The Cavs couldn't hit wide open shots or free throws last night and still only lost by 6.

I know this team can beat the Warriors in a series if need be, it comes down to staying healthy.

LeBron's shooting in general is down from last year.

Yes, Cleveland has a chance but the rest of the team really has to step it up.

Green was awesome for GS, and BTW so was Shaun Livingston. They are only going to get better when Barnes gets back.

Draymond Green recently posted his 3rd triple double in a row including one game with 16 assists. He leads the nba with 7.

Draymond Green is crazy good.

And what the fuck did Jimmy Butler eat this past summer?

Spurs are 22-0 at home.

Spurs are two and a half games behind the Warriors for the best record in the league.

I've seen Tony Parker play twice this year. Guy has been in the league for 30 years and he hasn't lost a single aspect of his game.....it's unreal

Blatt goes splat.

Thought that might happen after the Golden State debacle Monday.

Agree about Tony Parker...but the fans elect Kobe as starting AS guard.

Yet people are more upset about Will Stiff not getting an Oscar for a bad Nigerian accent.

I retract previous Warriors opinion.....

I've watched them beat Spurs, Cavs, and OKC in past 3 weeks with no reason to believe any different would occur in the playoffs....

Still not sure why the hell they run doubles at Curry. Makes no sense at all. Play him straight up and go at him on the defensive end. But what the heck do I know......

At this point I think the only strategy is to come at Curry with a crowbar

Or draft Vontaze Burflict as a backup PG

Last year in the Cavs thread I had stated that if Bosh's DVT was non traumatic that he was done playing in the NBA.

Apparently it was.

I can't believe someone with a license ever let him come off anticoagulation and play again.

He's lucky he didn't die.

In related news, Hillary's doctor reiterated that she is in excellent health. She supplements her three healthy salads a day and marathon training with two vitamin supplements called Armour Thyroid and Coumadin.

Damian Lillard showed last night how you deal with getting All Star snubbed by toasting the Warriors with 51.

Insane Curry stat as of today:

From 28 feet to 50 feet, he's 35-of-52 this season.

That better efficiency than making 100% of your 2s!

Bottom line...the only defensive strategy that makes sense against his is to guard heavily outside the line and make him shoot inside where he still makes 64%.

Oh and he had 51 pts in 34 minutes against O-Town including 10 3s.

OKC had them beat last night but just couldn't put them away....

GS may only lose 1 or 2 games in the entire playoffs.

If you showed me as a coach my opponents shot chart prior to a game and it was Golden States I'd take it all day long, which is fine for any other team on earth, except Golden State. You can't account for the making of what are otherwise horrible shots.

Forget Bigs, forget trying to play him inside out or outside in.

I'd get 2 Patrick Beverly type quick, physical, annoying players and just rotate them in and out to faceguard Curry for 94 feet. It ends up being more of a mental thing than an actual physical defense if you have ever had it done to you. It just wears on you.

This is just a team and player to enjoy watching.....

Yes this is in the category of thing we've never seen before.

A good as Kobe was in his prime, we saw it better with Jordan.

Dirk five years ago was a thing we've never seen before, a 7 footer who was an unstoppable jump shooter. Durant is probably now in that category. Olajuwon was at one point an unstoppable post shooter and so was Kareem with the skyhook. McHale was probably in this category even more than Bird with unstoppable post moves. Obviously no one conceived of a 6'9" PG until Magic.

A guy who makes an insane percentage of 30 footers with great athleticism really is something new.

Just enjoy it and watch it every chance you can, it's historic.

He's deceptively strong in the upper body. None of those shots even from half court are "heaves".

He and Iggy are out tonight against the Hawks.

Down goes OKC twice in a week.

It's down to GSW and SAS. Amazingly, with an injury or an off week SAS can pass them in the standings.

I had that game on from start to finish but I was doing other things and didn't focus on it until about 4 min left with OKC up by 12. That was the game that GS won in OT.

A wild game.

I remember 2 things Curry did that I watched and thought "wow". One of them was the 38 foot game winner in OT. BADASS.

The other was showing sick handles on the perimeter... took a few dribbles to his left creating just enough space to launch a 3 in a big moment. Ball handling skills are fantastic. Fans show up early just to watch him warm up.

Saturday GS vs SA in SA, game of the year until the playoffs, IMHO. 2nd game of GS road trip after DAL.

I hope Houston overtakes Utah for the 8th spot.

Houston vs Golden State would be interesting IMO.

Last night was some glorious NBA watching toggling between GS and Kobe.

And Kobe upstaged a guy who made 402 threes by scoring 60.

Beats Ted Williams' exit. Too bad it was an exhibition game.

That Latrell Sprewell commercial they've been showing is one of the greatest things in the history of TV.

Kiss the Clippers goodbye and San Antonio/OKC's chances just got a whole lot better.

Kind of loving this Charlotte Miami series and revival of Linsanity.

Dwight Howard is the rankest compound of villainous smell that ever offended nostril.

He is as overrated as Tony Parker is underrated.

My Cavs are rolling through the East, and the Spurs and Warriors are on a collision course in the West.

For the Cavs it comes down to staying healthy. Had they been healthy last season the Cavs would be looking to repeat as champions.
