The roster seems to be the same as last night with the exception of tender.

Hopefully the results are the same.

I'd take a clean one as well. . .

I give Buffalo credit for coming out strongly after getting plastered the night before. Pens have to get something going on the PP because they are getting chances.

Malkin went across the goalies body to score on the 2 on 1-real nice snipe there.

Yeah, he dangled there for a long while. Eventually the tender ran out of space and Hags goes high. Impressive goal by him.

More space, more skill...you get it.

Errey is right about the defense being solid lately. Not the most talented group but right now they are working well in groups.

Looks like we're back to having two good goalies.

I like Jarry, but wouldn't read anything into these last 2 games. Buffalo is garbage offensively.

He's going to get one hell of a test against the Islanders and Leafs this week.

Still haven't seen enough of Jarry to make a determination. What I have seen is that he looks good so far but only in a limited role.
I like that he is a good positional goaltender who doesn't stray from the net. He is technically sound but I think he loses sight of the puck too often and stands on his technique when such happens. Not sure he is much more than an adequate puck handler-time will tell.
He seems to be very composed which is key for a young tender.

One thing, I doubt there is much tape of him out there. You might be able to find some from WBS but at the NHL level there isn't much.
Wait to see how he plays once teams see him a couple of times.
Example of seeing a tender a couple of times:
Go back to the Friday's game when Knuckle had the penalty shot. Malkin told the German winger to go high over the glove side. Geno saw that in tape evaluation and shared it and Knuckle listened and scored with a high shot over the glove.

If Jarry is the real deal then a back up tender is crossed off Rutherford's upgrade list.

I know it's 1 game (pre season too) but Jarry is NHL ready. I'll go on record with that
