Bounce back night.

Daley is skating on his own so that means more of Hainsey. I know Maata catches a lot of flak here but he is much better than Hainsey IMO.

Hagelin is a game time decision. So the lines are going to be much what we saw last game.

Time for the PP to come through. Time to get in Anderson's face-crowd the net, make him uncomfortable.

MORNING SKATE REPORT:

*The Pens had an optional morning skate. Several players took the option to do off-ice work. They include Daley, Matt Cullen, Brian Dumoulin, Chris Kunitz, Carl Hagelin, Ron Hainsey, Evgeni Malkin, Patric Hornqvist, Phil Kessel, Sidney Crosby.

*Daley skated on his own prior to the morning skate.

Had more than enough chances to win that last game, and just didn't capitalize.

Get up two goals early, force them out of that gawd-awful trap game, and beat their asses into oblivion.

LET'S GO PENS!

Call me silly or whatever but I think Hainsey is better than Daley, so we're not missing much really. Daley's wheels have figuratively and literally fallen off- word is it's his knee

Doubt Hags comes back this series. His speed would be a godsend to break this trap

Score on the PP and we're ok.

Maata is a little better than Hainsey for me but they both suck. Maata also has no slap shot. Why won't they give Streit a try?

Because Streit is a turnover machine once he's behind his own goalline. Remember Schultz last year during the playoffs? He was getting like 9 mins of ice time and absolutely sheltered minutes?

That's Streit- he's a trainwreck in his own zone

They just need to play better defensive hockey. Shouldn't come down to man v man because we will get burned. I trust Sullivan to make adjustments (as it seems he always does), but the guys need to help out in our zone.

Our team speed is hurting. Watching Preds and Ducks last night, they just seem to be moving at a different clip. Guys like Sheary, Rust and Bonino need to keep those legs moving. If you are outskated in the playoffs you tend to lose.

If Hainsey didn't play game 1, then we get shut out.

Hainsey made the goal happen with his aggressive play

I think he's solid - not the issue

Hainsey reminds me of Scuderi before we shipped his ass back to Los Angeles.

They played down to their competition in game 1. Call it a hangover from the Craps series. The Pens are so much better than the Sens, and I think they come out appropriately prepared tonight. This is not a weak-minded team.

Hornqvist is now a game time decision as is Hagelin.
