At Chase Field
Game time: 8:10PM ET
Probable starters:
PIT: Trevor Williams (1-2, 7.98 ERA)
ARI: Taijun Walker (3-2, 3.83 ERA)

Quote:
Battling the flu making its way around the D-backs' clubhouse, right-hander Taijuan Walker held his own at Coors Field on Sunday, holding the Rockies to one earned run over 5 2/3 innings. Walker will look to pitch deeper into Saturday's game at Chase Field as he faces the Pirates for the first time in his career.

D-backs starters entered Friday leading the Majors with 222 strikeouts. Walker has averaged exactly one strikeout per inning, fanning 40 batters in 40 innings, despite striking out only one batter in his last start. The Pirates have been one of the National League's toughest teams to strike out, as their hitters struck out 261 times in their first 35 games.

Walker will line up against Pirates right-hander Trevor Williams, making his second start in the rotation spot previously occupied by Jameson Taillon, who had surgery Monday for suspected testicular cancer. Williams was hit hard by the Dodgers in his first start, allowing eight runs (six earned) on seven hits in three innings as the Pirates lost, 12-1.

Things to know about this game

• This is somewhat of a homecoming for Williams, a San Diego native who attended Arizona State University. Williams visited his alma mater's campus with teammates on Thursday. He expects to have his father, mother and brother in attendance on Saturday along with a number of Arizona State friends.

• The Pirates and D-backs will wear special uniforms for Mother's Day on Saturday and Sunday, incorporating pink into the clubs' regular logos while donning caps with pink visors. Some players will swing pink bats, wear pink cleats or sport pink wristbands in order to raise breast cancer awareness.

• After coming off the disabled list Friday, Adam Frazier should return to the Pirates' lineup on Saturday. The lefty-swinging Frazier figures to start in left field, where the right-handed Jose Osuna got the nod Friday against lefty Patrick Corbin.

Glad they won.

All I can say is...2016 and 2017...years I got MLB.tv free via T-Mobile.

What a gigantic waste.
