A million things could be said of this game.
All I want to read/hear:

The Pens move on!

MORNING SKATE REPORT:

*The Pens held an optional morning skate. Those missing were Brian Dumoulin, Carl Hagelin, Ron Hainsey, Phil Kessel and Sidney Crosby.

*Goaltender Matt Murray (lower-body) was back on the ice for the team and took part in the morning skater. Tristan Jarry, who has been acting as the team's backup, did not attend.

*The Pens used the following lines at yesterday's practice…

Guentzel-Crosby-Rust

Kunitz-Malkin-Kessel

Sheary-Bonino-Hornqvist

Hagelin-Cullen-Rowney

We hunted the lion and had it cornered, ready for the kill.

It responded as a desperate beast would, and gashed us as a last ditch attempt at survival before escaping back to its den.

Now we walk straight into the lion's den, and we cut its fucking head off.

Is Fleury going to have a sudden lower body injury right before game time?

Although I'm not sure if I'd want Murray's first game back to be in a Game 7 on the road.

I will be on the edge vomiting this entire game.

I picked the Caps in 6 games so we exceeded expectations considering all the factors: #1 Goalie and #1 Dman missing.

If we win tonight it's gravy. If we lose I'll still be happy with this group although there will be a tinge of regret not being able to repeat and getting Sid/Geno their 3rd Cup- sick of hearing about Toews and his mystic leadership shit...

Is Daley good to go for tonight? Never thought I'd say this, but we missed him last game.

I'm not going to be able to tune in till the third period. Part of me is happy about that. I won't lose the days of my life that the first 2 periods would most definitely shave off.

LET'S GO PENS!!

Such an odd thing. I mean MM can't be back nearly CLOSE to being game ready right? But if he's healthy enough to backup then he should be healthy enough to start

Wouldn't you prefer a 100% Jarry over maybe a 75%MM?

I'm surprisingly calm.

Probably because I have little hope of a win so at best I can be pleasantly surprised.

Of course, if it's 3-2 Pens in a game where the ice has been tilted towards our defensive end all night with 5:00 to go, I'll be a wreck.

Even if he's healthy enough to start, you don't just throw him into the fire in a game 7 that is as intense as this series has been. All the practice in the world can't simulate what this series has been like.

Fleury certainly isn't playing as well as he was in the first 3 games, but he's not playing bad enough to just blindly throw Murray in there, either.

So you start Fleury, and if he's shaky, you turn to a presumably healthy Murray and hope he's an upgrade in a last-ditch effort to pull a win out.

Essentially, you go into the game with the mindset of: Fleury > Cold Murray > Untested Jarry, and if Fleury isn't up to it, then you throw Murray in.
