You have to believe this group gets it done tonight.

Looks like Daley and Dumo might be out or game time decision.

Even after a 7 mile hike this morning the anxiety is oozing out.

MORNING SKATE REPORT:

*Missing from the team's morning skate were Trevor Daley, Brian Dumoulin and Carter Rowney.

*The Pens used the following workflow…

Sheary-Crosby-Hornqvist

Guentzel-Malkin-Rust

Hagelin-Bonino-Kessel

Kunitz-Cullen-Kuhnhackl

Streit-Hainsey

Maatta-Ruhwedel

Cole-Schultz

Go Pens!

SP is right- that's one beat-up set of defensemen.

Dumo is playing. Daley isn't according to Sullivan. He is day-to-day so maybe not too serious.

They said Dailey has lower body. I thought Wilson's hit was more upper body (head) so I wonder if it's related to that hit.

I know some here disagree, but I love seeing HBK back together. The Capitals do not have fond memories of that line.

Let's do what we do best and let these motherfuckers work on tee times tomorrow. LET'S GO PENS!!

I can't stand HBK- it was garbage the beginning of the year (and all year) and in Game 1. Please fucking kill this line with fire so we never have to see it again- its horrible

Guentz- Sid- Horny
Rust - Geno- Kessel
Hags- Bones- Sheary
Kunitz- Cullen - Kuhn

It's not that difficult, but Sully hasn't lost 2 consecutive playoff games yet so I need to trust him

And losing Daley isn't horrible on it's surface...he's been meh this whole playoffs. But his replacement hasn't played in what 1.5 months? I' m more worried about his rust vs his overall capabilities (because I think Ruh will eventually be fine)

Sheary is a liability -- would rather see him out

He lost games 4 and 5 to Tampa last year.

My bad on the consecutive losses

Either way, Sully has a proven track record over 1.5 seasons

Who would you replace him with, Scott Wilson?

Sheary has proven the ability to put the puck in the net and to be reliable. Wilson hasn't really shown either trait on a consistent basis.

Has Sheary been good this series...nope, but there's no one else on the depth chart you can call upon.
