I've always hated this dump and bench shit. It gives the other team momentum. Best defensive game is to keep zone time.

They are playing better. Rodney should have shot the puck high glove hand. He would have had a goal. Bobrovsky was playing more for the pass.

It's interesting to me that up 3 goals in the 3rd the Pens never turtled, kept attacking to the end.

Great convincing win. MAF had his legs tonight. That late wrap around stop showed that.

Props to MAF- he was great tonight after some so so Games 3 and 4. But pointing to that are his stats when you look at his home/away starts...it's amazing how different he plays

Sid was quiet until the 3rd period, which coincided with Horny being placed on his line. I think Sheary-Sid-Guenztel is dead much like HBK had it's run. Probably a good thing to spread out the depth as Sheary will get a little less attention being moved down the lineup.

Wilson's goal aside, I thought he was still garbage. Couple of failed clears in the first period. He's another guy who probably benefits from being moved down the lineup (to the 4th)

we need Hagelin -- he will give our lineup a tremendous boost

Offensively AND defensively. We sorely miss his backchecking ability. A lot of the odd man breaks we see might not happen with him in the line-up.

Though, he's not going to solve our problem of not clearing the crease effectively.
