Boston simply does not need another title to take for granted.

St. Louis is a dump but anything but Boston and NoCal.

Every fuckin' Bruins fan I know thin the Cup's a done deal for them. I'd love nothing better than seeing the Blues get their revenge for 1970.

What I have read is that most of the hockey talking heads are split on who they think will win the cup.

I hope the long layoff costs the Bruins in one of the first two games.

I think Tarasenko will be the key to this series.

Well fuck that.

Golden State in hoops and Boston in hockey would make for a shitty June.

Blues had the momentum. Then a few stupid penalties and that's all she wrote.

I think it's becoming apparent that the Blues and Bruins play similar type of hockey.
The difference is that the B's are more talented and have better depth

Binnington has to go bonkers for the Blues to have a chance and that's not entirely impossible considering his run this year

Amazingly, five thirty eight has the Raptors as computer model favorites, but even they are doubting it.

Agreed, but my thinking on Tarasenko was that he would have to pull off a 'Crosby' against Washington or 'Malkin' against Carolina back in 2009 for the Blues to have a good chance.

In my gut, I feel like the Blues have to win tomorrow night. I don't think you want to go down 2-0 to this Bruins team, But watch, St Louis gets drubbed tomorrow only to win two tight ones back in St Louis.

Binnington has been good all year after a defeat. Hoping that holds true on Wednesday night.

That was nice. But I confess I caught the winner later since I switched to Jeopardy.

Well you were wrong about the sweep, but I'm kind of with you.

As soon as the Pens were eliminated I stopped caring who won.

For me I don't want Boston winning it again
Be cool if a first time franchise won

Yeah...went to bed between 2nd & 3rd periods last night. Gotta admit, was glad to see Blues had won.

I haven't been watching since San Jose got eliminated, but the stench of entitlement is so thick around here now.
From the talking heads you'd think it was the '71-72 Bruins vs. North Korea.
Thank Christ St. Louis has at least made it a contest.

Damn, the Blues got drummed last night. Gotta stay out of the box for any chance to win from here on out. The Bruin PP is lightening hot and they have complete confidence in scoring every time they get on the man advantage - and they did last night!

I think its just the bruins are now warmed up and back in form. the loss stunned them ! seems to me the east teams have been much better then west overall for years!

The good news is that Binnington has been very good after a loss since taking over the net early in January.
The bad news is that the pressure is on the Blues in game 4. I don't see how they can beat the Bruins down 3-1.

Love to see a finals go to a game seven since it has been something like 8 years since such.
One last thing, the Bruins have been to 20 finals(including this one) and they have won only 6 of them.

So if they win this one, they'll have a better finals record than Lebron.

I work late, but thankfully watched this game at work. That 7 goal 'they piss on you after you got knocked out' ass beating seemed to wake the Blues up a bit. Physical as hell. I thoughouly enjoyed watching Boston getting out phisicalled.

Chara being out could be huge.

Chara is mediocre anymore. If you get him moving, he's a major liability...he can't skate anymore.
He's good when his forwards force the opposition to him and he uses his length to knock the puck away.

Yup, he is probably the third or fourth best D man on the team. They have the assets to cover his absence.

Word on the street it's a broken jaw. If that is the case he's done for the series

Remember that Sid took a puck to the jaw and was out for almost a month before coming back
