Bump.

Tough to say who is tougher to watch right now, the Pens or the Steelers.

LGP.

Orange, My 2 cents, It's not even close.
Steelers are much tougher to watch. Why?
1. Sully has won 2 of the past 3 cups. Tomlin has 1 ring a decade ago. Which one still has some capability to win again?
2. Pens will fire Sully if/when deemed necessary -- not a lifetime job. Tomlin has more job security than a Supreme Court justice.
3. GM JR is willing to pull the trigger. Colbert lets the draft come to him (very little trading activity except during Preseason).
4. Pens owners are all in to win. EMR is happy to make the playoffs -- only worse Pitt owner is the Nutt.
5. Pens will be playing until April. Steelers prolly 3 more games (4 or 5 at very most).
6. Sid & Geno still have years in front of them. Ben could be here another 5 years or 5 games. When they all go, all hope goes.

Tough question to ask (less so to answer for me) -- Steelers have 6 rings. Pens have 5. Pirates have 5.
Which of the three gets to #7 first? I'll give you a hint -- it's not the Buccos and the Steelers have Tombert.

At least the Cleveland owner was better looking.

I haven't checked twitter but it looks like Horny is still a no go.

I'm still pissed about yesterday. So angry in fact that my hate for certain elements pertaining to the Steelers is not going away anytime soon.

Yesterday, Steeler fans had the carpet pulled out from under them. For his warts, Sully doesn't coach stupid very often. Stubborn yes, but he will do what it takes to gain that advantage.

Penguins projected lineup
Jake Guentzel -- Sidney Crosby -- Phil Kessel

Tanner Pearson -- Evgeni Malkin -- Bryan Rust

Riley Sheahan -- Derick Brassard -- Zach Aston-Reese

Garrett Wilson -- Derek Grant -- Jean-Sebastien Dea

Brian Dumoulin -- Kris Letang

Olli Maatta -- Jamie Oleksiak

Marcus Pettersson -- Jack Johnson

Casey DeSmith

Tristan Jarry

Scratched: Chad Ruhwedel, Juuso Riikola

Injured: Matt Murray (lower body), Justin Schultz (left leg fracture), Matt Cullen (lower body), Dominik Simon (lower body), Patric Hornqvist (upper body)

Terrible play by Oleksiak for the penalty. Why was he so slow getting back?

Takes him time to get those long legs going. When he is paired with Maata(there) he can't pinch so deep. Put the play in peril.

That second penalty call was lame, the refs owe the Pens some PP time.

That was a hard period to criticize anyone because the Pens spent too much time on the PK. Talk about the flow of the game...

My complaint with Malkin is that he isn't shooting. He is down nearly a shot per game from last year when he netted 42 goals to easily the team in that category. He and Sheahan are not a good fit.

Story of the year for the Pens. Excellent shifts back to back by the top two lines. Then Brassard makes a nice strip only to turn it over(just terrible) and the Isles had numbers and break the ice.

To that Point the Pens were starting to take over the OZ.

It's like every mistake ends up in the net but they can't make the other teams pay when they screw up.

Thank you Casey DeSmith-the top line just put on a clinic of turning the puck over in their own end. He had 2 spectacular saves along with another 2 great ones.

FFS, someone put the puck in the net for the Pens.
