I offered them up last game thread.

I was more impressed with the play Crosby made to get that rush started. Give him three inches and he will make you pay,

2-0

4 minutes for that little bit of blood? It looked like a small trickle. Me thinks if this game was tied it would have been a single minor penalty.

Jj doesn't suck so bad paired with Letang.

I think Sully subtly benched Malkin and Hagelin throughout the game. Their minutes are way down from the norm.

Depth scoring has come through tonight.

My Yotes are better than they've been the last several years but still not a playoff team. Still no first line. You guys are making us look like an AHL club.

Wife had friends in from out of town, so I was stuck trying to pretend to be a social person.

DeSmith played a gem of a game, maybe the best one of his young career. Do you think they should go with the hot hand and give Murray a chance to get out of this funk?

DeSmith is 2nd in the NHL in save %, third in GAA

Murray can ride the pine

We went through this last year with the two tenders. DeSmith came in when Murray was hurt/ineffective and was great but after about 4 games his play started turning ordinary.

I'd stick with DeSmith because he is getting it done and I think right now the team is playing better behind him. Hopefully, Murray is in a funk and comes out of it. I mean every player goes through one-look at Crosby, he wasn't very good the first month of the season but since the road trip, he is back to being his dominant self.

Absolutely should, especially in the regular season where you are trying to accumulate as many points as you can
DeSmith will eventually revert to who he is : a backup guy so ride that train as much as you can
