That's good news, but what about Hags?

Can you play with a wired jaw?

No word on Hags, including any sense of the actual injury.

Fortunately, Simon seems to have done well in his stead, though doesn't bring the PK acumen. That said, fortunately, Caps have only had 32 seconds of PK time in Game #1. Let's hope it stays that way, no dumb penalties from Malkin on his return.

From one hockey fan that doesn't know shit about hockey to another that doesn't know shit about hockey, I agree. Simon has answered the call. But Hags PK skill and speed will be missed.

Hahaha on not knowing shit about hockey!! Have to assume that it's no Hags tomorrow, or the article would have indicated something. Hopefully, he's back on Tuesday.

Great news on Malkin -- huge lift for us. Changes the dynamic down the middle, and gives the Craps another big problem to deal with

Still a game-time decision.

If he can go it makes it harder to concentrate D on Crosby. Malin also would bring a physical element the team lacks when he is out.

So around the NHL, how about Winnipeg? They look fantastic.

And Marchand is back in the headlines and it's not for his play on the ice. Rumors were floating about that the NHL asked him to stop LICKING opposing players. He denies them but he has kissed a player before.
Might be the strangest/biggest douche professional player in any sport.

I posted this in the vegas thread.

It's entertaining though, yes?

Slimy, but entertaining.

Winnipeg’s GOALIE looked good. Nashville dominated play.

Now Boston on the other hand utterly blew Tampa’s doors off...well...their first line did...even without Marchand licking anybody, I suppose.

3 of 4 road teams stole home ice in the second round. Cool.
