Is just beating the ever-living shit out of San Jose. 4-0 halfway through the first.

The scary part about that team is...the plan was for them to start getting good NEXT year.

They are set up to become a stocked team in a big fat hurry.

I’m rooting for a Vegas/Pens final so freaking hard.

And it’s not because I think the Pens would be favorites. Quite the contrary.

But I think it’d be fun as hell to watch. And if the Pens don’t win it, I’d love to see Fleury get another one.

He’s finally living up to his status as a first overall draft pick.

Not that he didn’t have his moments for us, but he never played this well...that’s for sure.

I'd argue your "living up to #1 status" point. But, frankly, I don't have the time or energy for another Fleury argument that isn't going to change anyone's opinion today.

And to your second point, literally no one has literally ever played this well in the playoffs, at least by the numbers. Next closest save % in a playoff was .952. Obviously, Fleury still has games left and his current % probably isn't sustainable through all 4 rounds, but my point is that there is no point is saying his previous playoff runs haven't stacked up to this one, because no else's have either.

He'll fold like a cheap suit when he faces the Pens in the finals

He’s played really well all season long (granted, he only started 46 of 82 games, but he actually faced an amount of shots not too far off from previous seasons).

Career bests in save percentage and goals against average.

One of the key reasons Vegas is doing so well.

I thought this might have some entertainment value :

No more licking! NHL tells Bruins star Brad Marchand to 'stop nuzzling opponents' after the veteran forward was seen pressing his face and tongue against Toronto's Leo Komarov

Sorry if I highjacked your thread.

That might be the creepiest thing I've ever seen happen on the ice at a hockey game.

Which I why I can’t stand Marchand. I mean I couldn’t stand him before this, but this is over the top. He’s a weasel.
