They haven't posted the lines on nhl.com and when I see something I'll post or someone else can.

Steelpro brought up the subject earlier in the week about pressure and how a series deficit could impact the Caps. Personally, I think the pressure is on the Caps this time around and if they lose to the Pens sans Malkin/Hagelin what does that do to their psyche?
What do the Pens have to prove?
Sure they are chasing a three-peat but most people would think it extraordinary if the Pens pulled it off. And the Pens have faced nearly every kind of pressure a team can the past two years and they still found a way to raise the cup back to back.

Anyway, the Pens just have to win one of these first two games.

Agree on all points.

I wouldn't feel too badly about dropping the first game provided Geno comes back for game 2 and we can win that one. I also have a strange feeling this game 1 is going to be one of those crazy starts to a series where literally anything can happen. I wouldn't be shocked if we won by 5 goals, I wouldn't be shocked if we lost by 5 goals, and I certainly wouldn't be shocked by anything in between.

Don’t take silly penalties + Murray back to being Playoff Murray = we’ll be fine no matter who’s out there.

Also, better D and puck possession. If Washington lives in our zone the way they did last post-season, we aren’t coming out on top.

Agreed on all points in this thread. I'd love to see a 3-1 game we win -- don't try to score 8 goals.

By the way, I love this line in Jeemie signature:

"That Super Bowl was not won yesterday. It was won in a small room in Philadelphia, two weeks ago."

That's the truth - all about preparation way ahead of time

Pucks on net and Letang better keep his cool.

Oh and if Niskanen tries any cheap shit on Crosby Oleksiak better step in and bash some heads.
