We know what the Pens have to do.

I'm still marveling how that team last night fell behind FOUR times yet they kept at it, made plays and then came back to win. Hopefully tonight it goes much easier for them.

Lines look the same as last night.

Is Murray starting tonight?

They will have at least 4 days off, so there's no real reason to save him.

ATT just said DeSmith is the starter.

I can't bring this up the enough-last night the Jackets saw their Vezina winning tender surrender four leads and ultimately the game-winner.

How did Zack Smith not get a penalty on that too?

Lame.

Malkin, of course, was lamer.

Liked how they kept Ottawa to the perimeter on that PK. Letang was really good digging and getting to loose pucks on the kill. Olekisiak crushed B. Ryan.

Malkin should never have done the cross check. I think at that point he might have gotten away with the slash or both players were going. When he did the crosscheck the refs correctly called him for 4 minutes.

Geuntzy with his Sidney impression.

I think DeSmith is our backup in the post season. I like what I’ve seen from him way more than Jarry

Maybe I’m bed wetting, but I have no confidence in Murray at this point...

Good night in the Golden Triangle.

The good guys are smokin' 'em at both PNC and PPG.

Interesting...but when it all comes down, Murray will be between the pipes in every Pens post season outing...barring injury of course.

Home ice for a round!

I think I’d rather we face Columbus.

If Bob had to play the Penguins every game, he’d be out of a job. The Pens own him.

Well, NJ & Columbus are both resting a bunch of stars... it would appear they want Philly to get the #3.

I saw that Columbus is sitting about a half dozen players-like you said most of their stars. I only see Hall sitting in Jersey.
That said, Torts would rather face Boston, Tampa or Washington instead of the Pens? If I'm looking at this correctly then all I can say is that Torts is a prime pussy.
I get that the Birdies have Bob on a string(especially Kessel) but I would rather face the Pens then one of the top three teams in the East.

I was thinking the same thing.
