Pens up, 3-2, after 1, having surrendered yet again power play goal with 10 secs remaining in period. Murray gave up a shitty one a few minutes into the game. Fortunately, Niemi is in net for Montreal, gave up an even shittier one to stake Penguins to 3-1 lead.

The first one Murray didn't react because Malkin deflected(skate) it at the last second. Don't know if I would necessarily blame Murray but you have to wonder what Geno was thinking.
Errey keeps talking about Murray being spectacular the past few games as if he is back to form. I don't think Murray is anywhere close to his best. He has moments and makes a ton of saves but he still seems a tad sluggish and the confidence is lacking.

Yeah, the PK is a mess. Murray off his angle a smidge and of course it goes flying over the glove hand(high side).

Like the energy but there are still moments when the Pens leave gaping holes or they have another crap change.
We talk about the defensive lapses but the changes(for a lot of the season) have been a problem that has gotten little attention.

Happy to dominate the FO' and shots.

Crosby drawing penalties again.
That was a sick shift by 87.

Pens survive short-handed breakaways on consecutive penalties, come back and score PP goals on both occasions...5-2, Pens. I think Pens clinch a playoff spot tonight.

Watched on delay. Great response after going down early. Good win at home.

The BJs are red hot, so I'll take the Cryers please.

Like you said bam, a win tonight in regulation and first place in the Met gets interesting.

ya..3 left and a win tonight vs caps cuts lead to 1 point..looking at cap schedule and its not easy one..we need as much home ice advantage as we can get..
