Sure they could have.

If people who were calling for a boycott of games, etc are mollified by this deal, well, then...they're pretty dumb.

I am not mollified and am still done with Bob Nuttings Pirates
This is a mercy singing and wouldn't be surprised if MLB told nutitng to do something
I wont get fooled again ... 45 years of fandom down the crapper. Bob nutting can rot and I won't be back until he isn't gone.

I give JL58 all the credit in the world for coming up with this one, and we see it with this move:

1. The Pens do what it takes to win (seen by recent Brassard move)
2. The Steelers will win only by "The Steeler Way" (seen by bringing Sean Spence back)
3. The Pirates will win only if it benefits Nutting's Wallet (this move. It's all about pitching. What's the rotation look like? Yeah, I thought so)
