Does anybody know if you can watch AT&T Sports Net through Sling TV. Basically only reason I have a higher cable package through Comcast is to get this one channel. I called Direct TV and only there highest paid package gets the AT&T Sports Net channel. I really don't watch too many channels but have to have my Pens and Pirates. Anybody know a better alternative?

No - Root Sports/AT&T Sportsnet is pretty notorious for not being available on any streaming options. I'm guessing you're in the PIttsburgh market, so your best bet may be purchasing NHLtv and using a program to mask your location (I honestly don't have a clue on how to do that).

There are rumors that Sportsnet will be available on DirecTV Now in the near future, so look out for that.

I downloaded sling through amazon fire, so i cant remember what service i used. Nbcsports was there, along with other sports apps.

I have Sling as well, and it's awesome, but you're still restricted to your local market for sporting events. Sling doesn't carry Sportsnet so if you're in the Pens TV market you're pretty much screwed. I just get the Pens package on NHLtv and I'm covered, but it won't let you do it if your area has access to the Pens on any cable package.

Just curious, but why would you want to watch the Pirates?
