My guess is no goal.

It's a coin flip most times when you get to review. I don't think he was intentionally trying to kick it in.. Partly bc he was being pushed from behind trying to stop. But can understand why it was called as such

Want to talk about a coach who leverages his advantage? Check out sids linemates on his goal : Kessel and Sheary. Sullivan did this a few other times before the goal... Double shifted Crosby to get a match up he wanted

Honestly didn't see ANY of this earlier in the season.. Like Sullivan woke up from a half season coma of being an intentionally terrible boss

And that's a wrap! The one Pittsburgh franchise that does what it takes to win a championship!

Penguins gave up less SHOTS in 60 minutes than the Steelers did POINTS

Shit I bet Crosby and malkin could tackle and pass rush better than any of these jokesters

Always remember:

1. The Penguins will do whatever it takes to win.
2. The Steelers will win only if it's by the Steeler way.
3. The Pirates will win only it is benefits Nutting's wallet.

Pittsburgh professional sports in three sentences, ladies and gentlemen.

Since we are ragging on football coaches...can you imagine Sullivan being straddled with Butler and Haley? He wouldn't put up with it for long. Neither would ownership.

"Keith I like you, we are drinking buddies but you lack imagination and substance. Todd, you're a straight up strange pussy and if you don't get the fuck out of my face in the next ten seconds I'm going to have Reaves beat you into the ice."

Back to hockey.

Has anyone noticed that Crosby's re-emergence of late started about the time he was lined up with Simon and Sprong? Maybe its a coincidence maybe not.
Simon is tricky and heady. Did anyone see that spin move he made after Sid tossed him the puck coming down the slot? He nearly beat King with a real fancy move.
Sprong looks an NHL player finally. He really has pushed his game to cover the whole ice. He might just stick the rest of the season.

Thanks to the Birdies for ending the day on a positive note. And beating King suntan man to boot just made it all the more delicious.

Dayum.

This post has an off-the-charts meaning to words ratio.

I saw someone make a joke: "Sid is a vampire...he just needs fresh young blood to bring him to life"

Count Crosby.

Still need a third line center cause we are wasting Guentzel there.
