Andraez Williams looks fantastic for a freshman (CB). Great size, as well (6'2 182). Tracks ball and uses his body extremely well. Future 1st round pick if he stays healthy.. Bet on it.

Grant Delpit same (6'3 200, SS). Rangy and can hit.

Tyler Taylor has looked very good at LB as well (another true freshman). Needs to bulk up.

Anxious to see Arden Key.

Guice is better than Fournette.

Will keep this updated with my thoughts as the season rolls on.

Sounds like DBU is reloaded. You'll have to give us another update when they are playing somebody a little tougher than Chattanooga.

After two weeks. BYU is at least a decent program. This is taking into account both games.

Andraez with another pick tonight.

Has a video with some highlights of Andraez. Last 15 seconds has perfect fade coverage against Chattanooga (love his body usage) and a great job getting head around and tracking ball vs BYU.

Haven't been able to watch much today due to wedding. But lsu d line and discipline are real problems from what I've seen.

Williams is the only LSU defensive player who has shown up this season. He plays hard.

LSU is awful in the trenches this season.

Orgeron could be one and done.

Arden Key is killing his draft stock. Slow first step, no power. Whatever ailed him this offseason isn't 100%. I expect that'll come out during or before the combine.

I wouldn't draft any of LSUs WRs.

Kicking game would cost them this season even if they were otherwise competitive.

Etling is playing his heart out this second half.

Etling can make all the throws. He tends to make good reads. I get the sense he's being limited the same way OBJ and Landry were limited at LSU but way better pros. Not that Etling will be as good as they are at their respective positions, but I think he could end up a decent backup somewhere.

Not sure what he could have done there. Time running out and no timeouts, being pressured, had to just launch something. LSUs receivers are huge problem this year. Not one will play at the next level for any serious amount of time.

I can handle bad seasons and shitty losses. What doesn't make sense to me is why LSU would give Orgeron a $12m buyout. Who else was trying to hire him? Would he have said no if we said "no buyout"?

Our AD is awful.

Not at all, at least as a head coach. Love his personality though. Will always miss that part of him at LSU. I wish he could be a mascot.

Firing Les was the right decision. We were never going to compete for a title with Les at the helm.

Everything after that was the wrong decision, though, because we certainly won't contend with Fat Les aka Orgeron. No way Alleva should have led this coaching search. No way Alleva should still be there. A $12m buyout to a guy no one else was going to touch is borderline negligence.

Name one major sport coaching hire Alleva has ever made -- whether at Duke or LSU -- that has been successful. I'll wait.

Greg Gilmore DT isn't the most athletic guy, but he's big (6'3 310), and he's high effort on every play. Could be a decent late round project.

Chark - WR - 6'3 190. needs to bulk up a bit, but tall and fast. Average production, but I blame the LSU offense more than talent. Has some concentration lapses, but the physical tools are all there. I could see him going in the third if he runs as well as I expect at the combine.

Donte Jackson - CB - 5'10 (on a good day) - Great speed (one of fastest guys in CFB). Very raw at CB but has improved tremendously this year. Don't see him ever being an outside CB, or ever being able to compete physically with a bigger WR, but can probably stick as a nickel CB/return man.

None of the other LSU wrs are anything to write home about.

I still remain tremendously impressed with Greedy Williams. He'll be a mid first round pick in 2019 or 2020 if he keeps this up.

Been slacking on this. I stand by what I said early on that Greedy Williams is a future top 10 pick at CB. Will have more on players at a later date.

Surprised the season turned around how it did. If it weren't for that inexcusable loss to Troy, LSU is hovering right outside of the top 10.
