At best, Carl Granderson would be a Chick replacement. I would be fine with him in the 5th round or later. Minus the sexual assault charges.

Speaking of replacements,

Chase Winovich for Chickillo?

and

Cameron Smith for Matakevich?

Each pair strike me as similar, with the new guy being something of an upgrade.

There are a lot of Chick replacements. Could they sign Shaq Barnett to replace Chick? Hell yeah.

The question for Sutton smith is can he play off ball LB. I love his motor. I think, at the minimum, he is a ST demon.

I merely meant those two players I mentioned are like Chick 2.0 and Matakeveich 2.0... new and improved

I realize those two are fairly easy upgrades they just can't seem to make, despite a bottom 5 STs unit.

Emanuel Hall Wr Missouri

Listen I don't think this kid is making it past round 3...I cannot find anything about his game I dislike. His ball skills are not great. Everything else about his game is very good to elite. He ran a complete route tree in a pro style offense in 2018. He runs away from coverage with a rare combo of speed and quickness

Hall and Harmon are the two receivers who scream STUD to me in this draft. I like many of the receivers these two are my guys

I expect Hall blows the combine out of the water. AAU Jr Olympic Gold medals in the high jump and pentathlon (2011)

I noticed Hall when I looked at J'Mon Moore's tape 2 years ago (there was talk of Moore coming out that year). Added him to my watchlist.

This draft class is crazy deep with all-arounder WR types.

But can Hall catch? There is some talk of him having suspect hands. Speed is his claim to fame though.

I'm also intrigued with Jordan Brailford as a late round flier. Not able to find video of him except for some not so flattering film vs Kansas State.

My 2 favorite WR in this class are N'Keal Harry and Deebo Samuel.

Couldn’t agree more FC, you and I like a lot of the same guys this year. Hall was injured this past year too.

How about WR Antoine Wesley from Texas Tech?

Interesting prospect... he's so differently built from your average WR, and he seems too high-waisted/tall to be a usable TE. Incredible catch radius and ball skills. I think he'd be dynamite in the Red Zone and pretty mediocre anywhere else because he doesn't run well.

I’ll take him at 4b, if they can get an extra 2nd and 4th round pick for Brown.

I like Wesley as well. At 6'4 200 he has a slight build with some release ability questions. His COD/hip drop have been described as 'elite' for his height/length. That in mind we always say you can't coach height and length. COD is something else that can't be coached up. Either you've got it or you don't. Those 3 God given talents should be enough to generate some draft buzz on Wesley enough to get him drafted. Where? Is anyone's guess at this point. I'd start in the 4th like cop suggests. He could rise like a missile or drop like an anchor. Combine should straighten it all up. His ability to track the ball is even described as good. There is some question regarding his hands as well as his collegiate production or lack thereof.

I feel like Antoine Wesley is a poor mans version of N’keal Harry. They both have extremely similar games except Wesley is quicker than Harry.

A respected team leader and captain for Ohio St. Has some refinement/development to do as a young kid. Natural hands catching away from his body. Has a second gear and yards after catch ability. Future starter potential. An intriguing prospect IMO.

Safety Mike Bell Fresno State. I’d like him in the 3rd.

Opinions?

A bit of an unknown. No one talking about him, yet. Ball skills are what's most impressive. Plays the run well; a good form tackler can miss but not very often. Nothing overly exciting SPARQ related, Average athlete. Size, length, ball skills are excellent but not a burner. Can play either safety spot but not asked to play a lot in man coverage, if at all. He could stand to put on some muscle weight. Listed at 203-205. His combine will likely determine whether he goes day 2 or day 3. Intriguing prospect no one is talking about.

Mike Wallace, but not quite as fast.

I think he's a solid, assignment-based player... I just don't think you'll get anything extra from him, if that makes sense. In that regard, he's the kind of guy Dick Lebeau would have drafted. Don't mean that as a knock, just a type. High floor, low ceiling.

In a normal draft class of CBs, I'd say mid 4. In this one, no earlier than second half of day 3.

I think McLaurin shows better hands (albeit pretty limited sample size) than I remember out of Wallace, at least in terms of bodying the ball.

I'm sure you've seen more of him on a play to play basis than I have, but his ball-tracking on deep ball and seeming refusal to high point any ball is eerily reminiscent of Wallace.
