With Ryan Shazier and Tyler Matakevich both hurt Sunday, #Steelers welcome back a familiar face: ILB Sean Spence has been signed.

There you go.

Welcome back, Sean!

Be careful of that shitty Heinz Field turf...

I want Timmons!

Miami would demand all our fleece, whoever.

Good signing.

I guess the corresponding move will be Shazier to IR?

No surprise there. And it will be Matakevich who will head to IR most likely, they aren't going to rush the Shazier decision.

Good signing.

Colbert probably found it too difficult to reverse the rotation of the Earth to get back to week 8 and make that trade before the deadline.

I don't remember Spence being very good.

Just really little to no options now.

Thanks, that's interesting. He must be hurt pretty bad. I know this is premature, but assume Shazier will be heading to IR at some point. Is the guy on the practice squad even decent? Is he the next guy they look to after Spence?

He was released by the Colts on October 3rd.

Whatever he was, he isn't and he hasn't practiced/played in two months.

Matakevich knows the system too. Didn't help much.

Beggars can't be choosers but like Sensabaugh, we'll get what we paid for.

Does anyone think Deebo may be capable of playing some downs at MLB? He's always been stout against the run.

It comes Full Circle. Welcome Back Sean Spence. I respect how he fought his way back from a devastating injury a few years back.

That’s because Matakevich isn’t very good. Spence might not be either, but we need bodies.

I’m going to come right out and say it...Sean Spence sucks! Always has...always will.
But...
He knows the system, and was available(because he sucks). Nothing at all to get excited about.

We're likely, fucked defensively without Shazier.
Good offensive teams, playoff and SB caliber offenses are going to eat us up.

Gonna be up to the offense to win a championship.
