After seeing their teammate possibly paralyzed (knock on wood) and being devastated in the first half, they went into the locker room and got it together just as I predicted.

And say what you want about Mike Tomlin, he has to be given a lot of credit for composing his team and making adjustments (Sutton) and pulling this out.

I'm loving this season, these are the good old days!

Totally agree. Wins like this are what championships are made of.

Big balls on an emotional night.

Thanks to the Gray and the D for stepping up in the 2nd half.

I quit reading the game board a while back. I’m sure there was over 100 pages of not stop bitching lol...great win and great fight showed by our team. I’m sure Tomlin is to blame for something though.

Character matters. Tomlin and his team may be a lot of things and make their share of mistakes, but they got some stuff.

BOZ!

On a side note, hope I never have to hear Gruden and Sean McDontKnow ever call another Steeler game ever again. Quite possibly the worst commentary I have ever heard.

And give some props to the defense whom we maligned in the first half.

They brought it in the second half. Three points early in the third, and then a big fucking donut.

That's the kind of game that brings a team together. Hope to God Shaz is OK. But if he isn't, I think that fires this team up even more.

I'm excited for how we build off this game.

I jump on Mike a lot but there's a lot to admire and respect. Roethlisberger is one for the ages. Now we have to pray for Ryan. Spinal injuries are strange. An injury that doesn't look so bad could have a devastating outcome. Hope to God his isn't as serious as some fear.

Be well Ryan

yes

five minutes of hand-wringing and a literal 'shame on him' towards Schuster, hardly a word on a MUCH more blatant hit to Brown in the endzone later in the same drive

For his sake. First, you hope he can walk. Second, he hasn't made his money yet. You hope that he is secure the rest of his life. Finally, and of least importance you hope he is healthy can play in the playoffs.

Let’s give a shout out to Coach Tomlin. Pulling his team together under very difficult circumstances. Deserves a lot of credit. As far as the comeback is concerned, don’t forget those 3 points before the half. On their own 23 or so yard line with less than 30 seconds left in the half, could have easily tucked it away and started over in the 3rd quarter. Somehow found a way to come away with a field goal. Team’s thoughts now with Shazier.

Football now isn't in the equation. Not when a contingency list of spinal cord surgeons is being compiled just in case. I hope the Steelers lock out the media so Ryan and his family have the privacy they need and inform fans when they're good and ready. All we should do is pray for him.

Quite possibly the worst announcing job I can remember.

It's like they took 2 drunk dudes out of the stands and said here's some mic's.

No signs of any preparation....just reactions.

I'm going to keep writing this team off every week....man they're a surprising bunch.

Game was very reminiscent of that playoff game. Weather. Late win. Injuries. Ugliness. No more Bengals games this year, that's another positive.

What they said.

This is exactly the area of the game, the emotional ups and downs where Tomlin excels at and that I love about him. Its the game mgmt. stuff that irks his detractors like myself. Would love for him to hire an assistant to help him with that part of the game.
