Chris Collinsworth said that he tried for 10 years to do a helmet catch in practice & AB with game tension made it look like child's play last night. I just have 1 game jersey - the one that I bought in AB's rookie season - 84.

Yeah, but he didn't have Ben throwing the ball :D

AB's hands are about as good as I've ever seen - like magnets covered in glue. Catches probably 95% of whatever hits his hands regardless of how tough a catch.

I'd say AB has more upside than most, maybe all, with an elite QB, the ones who can really utilize those great hands in tight windows. But he also has more downside with a lesser QB that can't hit those tight windows on time.

It's true though. AB would be hugely productive with guys like Stafford, Dalton, Tannehill... he's a transcendent talent and makes any QB he plays with better. Landry Jones is arguably not even NFL quality. I mean, if he's cut tomorrow does he get signed to another team's 53? I don't think so.

I have a feeling the Pats would pick him up within an hour

thinking Brown hits 1700 this year, leads the NFL (unsurprisingly)

new single season mark for him is probably out of reach, he'd need about 135 per game in the last 6

Antonio Brown is simply putting up the most productive 5 year run in NFL History for a wide receiver.

He's such and extremely polished and talented WR. No doubt if he stays healthy he'll be at least a top 10 WR of all time.

Come on now. You've said Ben looks done often this season. Doesn't mean you don't like Ben.

I think Tomlin gets too little credit on the board is all.

And there are some who will do anything other than blame Ben for anything.

Tomlin's got his worts for sure, but reading a lot of the cooments about him on here, you'd be forgiven for thinking people were referring to Marvin Lewis or something.

I sure did, because he HAS looked done.

I blame Roethlisberger plenty when he deserves it.

I detest Tomlin because I know what's coming.

HUGE cushions vs. New England's receivers and run, run, pass when we're down 15.

That's why my avatar is a tribute to Mikey T.

Sure, pull out the hate for the HC of our 8-2 football team. Good timing.

Tomlin hate is warranted.
Record vs. sub .500 teams speaks for itself.
With the talent this team has a great head coach would have first round byes every single year.
Just imagine if Bill and the cheats had this talent- oh wait. That team can plug and play just about anyone and they will still get a first round bye. Don't you remember when Matt Cassel got them to 11-5?

Tomlin is going to have to win the Superbowl this year to change my mind. Especially since he has a cakewalk to the playoffs now. AFCN is a dumpster fire.

Goddamn some of you all lack perspective.

So Tomlin's not as good a HC as Belichick (best coach ever), and you're angry at him for that?

Steeler fans. If you're not as good as Belichick, you suck. There is no middle ground.

And let's just wait and see what happens when we play the Pats this year, shall we? When Tomlin had the talent to play the Pats the right way in 2011, he did so. Now it appears he has the talent again. Maybe it will be same old same old...maybe it'll be 2011 again.

Pissed at Tomlin for what hasn't happened yet. Well done, sir, well done.

The AFCE is always a dumpster fire too don't forget.

We haven't had the talent in recent years that we have this year. Let's see what happens.

I do remember when they went 11-5 with Cassel. We were one of the 5.

Not as good as Belichick, so Tomlin sucks.

Not if Laundry Jones is throwing to him for the next 4 years...

Sure, Poltargyst, we'll wait and see. And I think you confuse a sense of being resigned to our fate unless proven otherwise, with our being pissed off. This came up on another OP last night. It has to do with the result when facing Belichick, Brady and the Patriots....
*AFCCG last year
*Opener in 2015
*At Foxboro in 2013

Getting the picture? Whenever Tomlin faces Belichick lately, the exception being 2011, he just doesn't get beat, he gets beat like a fuckin' drum; it's not even competitive.

I think I can speak for KC in hoping that we're both wrong as fuck, and that if Tomlin beats Belichick in this year's AFCCG, we'll be worship at the feet of Mike Tomlin, KC will take down the Bug-Eyed Fuck Avatar and replace him with Smoking Jesus, but with Tomlin's face. We're just not very confident is all, with good reason...hope the fuck we're wrong.

I would rather have a field hockey player from an Ivey league school play WR and win multiple rings than have the greatest WR in history.

AB is very, very, very good. No doubt. His work ethic. His route discipline. His hands. Dude is great. Almost a certain HOFer. BUT…

I’ve never seen AB take over a game…all by himself…the way Randy Moss could. AB draws double coverage and it opens up the field for everyone else. Moss drew double coverage, and he still made catches and scored touchdowns. And the dude was the slowest fast guy (or fastest slow guy) I’ve ever seen. How frustrating must it have been to be an elite corner and be running full out as Moss pulled away from you while appearing to be jogging?

Moss was the most talented WR in history. I'd be surprised if there is ever a guy like him again. Amazing hands, ran and leaped like a gazelle, devastating out of his breaks, could separate from anyone. He had everything from a talent standpoint.

Megatron was a freak in his own right, but he didn't have Randy Moss speed. Moss had like generational speed, like Deion Sanders. To me, that's what separates him. I mean...

I'd take Calvin Johnson over Moss.
