An excerpt from the Fan 93-7 show.

Quote:
Ben also took some time to look ahead at the short week they’ll be on as they prepare for a Thursday night matchup with the Titans.

“Ya, it’s miserable, it’s terrible, they need to get rid of this game I think. Just play on Monday’s and Sunday’s. It’s so tough on guys, you’re beat up, you’re banged up. It’s a very violent, physical game we play…you’ve got to let your body recover a little bit. Even a week, you’re still not fully recovered by Sunday to Sunday, you’re still dealing with bumps and bruises and things just continue to build up throughout the season. When you go on such a short week, man, it’s just not good. I don’t know many players that like it. It’s a tough thing to do, but you know, you’ve got to do what the league says.” http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2017/11/ ... tive-talk/

I agree with Ben. It's too short of time between games. No rest which increases the risks of football related injuries. What say Fury folks?

Just play team just off a bye versus team just off a bye if you absolutely think TNF is necessary and problem is solved. Same for European games.

I lived in California for 2 years and enjoyed watching games at 10am on Sunday. If they want more national games, fire up the machine at 10am. You wake up go shopping and it is almost game time. Worst games are on at 10am, best games are in at 4 pm. Float the times depending on records. I would do a full 7pm schedule too.

League is over-exposed for the quality we’re getting for these games.

They got too greedy and over-reached.

Ratings aren’t down just because of the Anthem thingie.

Ratings are down because the quality of the game is terrible.

This^

I could go for. Saturday night games would be fine. Doesn't conflict with College football and makes way more sense with regards to time off for players. Instead of going from a Sunday to a Thursday. Sunday to a Saturday. Also incorporate the Bye scenario as mentioned above. Both teams coming off a Bye would play the following Saturday. Still having the same coverage/exposure...

RS..., Too Damn Funny. Thank You for that.
