Dr Chao saying since it is fibula and high he could be back in as little as 4-6 weeks. Playoffs he said was worst case scenario.

He usually is pretty accurate, but we will see I guess. Said he may not even need cast.

You're 39 years old now. Younger than Blount, for sure.

Per Aditi Kinkawala?!
"Joe Haden does have a broken fibula, but #Steelers not counting him out for the season. I'm told hope is 6-8 weeks."

Haden finally on a winner

He is winning (Charlie Sheen-like)

And this happens

Hope he gets back by playoffs

Yep, sad. But sounds it could have been worse. If we make the playoffs I bet he is back, wouldn't this be the first playoff game of his career?

He may even be back before season ends, like week 15 or 16.

This gives Sutton a chance to be active. We keep Joe active, and let Fort or Moats or Johnson or Big Dan go, or we IR Hawkins. Joe comes back in 5 weeks for the New England game, and Sutton replaces Gay as the dime CB. If Haden is not ready in 5 weeks, don't rush it. We need him to beat New England in the playoffs. I am a lot more worried about the offense than I am this injury.

Johnson plays for the rats. You could add either Heyward-Bey or Mitchell. Never happen but two of my top choices.
