Like I used to say when railing on Barnaby Jones, pass rushers are born more so than made. It's either in you or it isn't. Sure guys still need coaching & seasoning but if you don't have "it" then no amount of coaching will turn you into a pass rusher.

Watt isn't perfect but thus far has shown to be a huge upgrade over what we had.

Very good pick.

Ideally a guy like Chickillo can be a super sub for the time being. He's played both sides. I see no reason why we shouldn't use him moving forward to spell Watt & Dupree so that all three have fresh legs in the 4th quarter.

Assuming Dupree can hold on to the position.

After yesterday, if Dupree can't come up with a couple, three sacks over his next two games, I'd bench him for Chickillo.

a nice rotation of the 4 (watt, chickillo, dupree, deebo) would be nice. Keep everyone fresh and hungry.

CHIckillo had some big problems yesterday. Open field tackling, playing the run, and coverage were an adventure for him. Dupree is very good at that stuff.

Yep his sacks are covering up a very poor game overall. I still see him as 3rd down specialist which is fine but in run Defense he was bad, really bad.

He aint perfect, dats da troof... But at least he's capable of progressing. He's proven that. Can't say the same for Dupree a full two years later.

Your anti-Dupree agenda is getting old. He looked pretty damn good after he came back last year. Yet, somehow, you've taken a fairly minor injury and turned it into a campaign against his work ethic and potential. Both of which, I'd venture to guess you know little about.

I agree with most that has been said about Watt. 2 points to make:

What has Haden done in the secondary? The pass rush and secondary go hand and hand. You don’t get good rush with out a respectable secondary, and you don’t get a respectable secondary with out a good rush. I don’t know that you can call out a play of Haden’s in particular, but he will be indirectly responsible for a portion of the sack output this year and I think there was evidence left out on the field of that on Sunday.

Watt is the best TE on team. Just have him go both ways Coach Tomlin, Haley and Butler.

I hope he comes back and tears it up, don't get me wrong. He's a first rd talent, and not a conversion. It's his third fucking year now. The time has come.

Dupree I thought came on and had arrived as the player we hoped for his last 7 games. The last 4 regular season games and the 3 playoff games, 7 games he had 5 sacks, 35 tackles (25 solo) and forced a fumble. He was decent in reverse, meaning dropping into coverage and Chickillo just does not have the well rounded game that Dupree has.

With Watt, Dupee, Chickillo and Harrison, we are as deep and talented as we have been for a long time at OLB. Still don't understand hows Art Moats is still no the team, he is not a good special teams player at this point, and him getting a hat means somebody like Justin Hunter is inactive.
