Read his overview and he compares to "Arthur Moats"

So I'd say solid pick

Fairly solid pro day. Wonder if he could play off LB'er inside? 6'2 247, 4.70 40, 36" Vert., 10'4" Broad Jump, 4.38 Short Shuttle, 27 reps. 225 and a very pedestrian 3-cone with 7.36 so he fits the 7th RND description I suppose.

He is headed to Olive Garden where they treat you like family.

He will be fine once he gets his hands on some bread sticks and bottomless pasta dish.

So you're saying there's a slight chance when you do think he knows what he's talking about?

Good pick. Athletic smallish OLB. Might be good enough to get a roster spot, but PS most likely. Has some skills, small but effective player.

He's a blitzing off-ball LB, I think. A candidate to be a spot starter as ILB. A candidate to be a fine STs player.

My 2 cents:

Watt: B+ can rotate in and play teams. also has a great opportunity to develop into a player 2-3yrs from now making people wonder how he dropped to 30.

Juju: B+ pushes the WR group to compete for a spot. Strong hands, chain mover, nice compliment to AB and can actually catch naturally as opposed to the unnatural Stone Hands Wheaton and sometimes MB and DHB. Natural pass catcher will be excellent. Oh, can track ball in the air nicely.

Sutton: B depth and I defer to anyone that has seen him play.

Conner: B- hell yes it's a feel good story. I also think it's a nice compliment to the group. Hope he gets some touches to spell Bell and runs over a couple DB's in the process.

Dobbs: D hated the pick here in the 4th. Clearly smart, just not accurate. Time will tell if he does anything.

Allen: B depth, package player for now with great height and has some ball skills

Holba: B- early=yes, but also the top rated LS and heir apparent. Not exciting but at least he should stick which is more than many many 6th rounders.

Adams: C+ 7th rounder, so if he contributes at all then great.

Overall: I think 2-3 years from now we'll see plenty of contributors and be thankful for this haul.

I love the Adams pick. Watch his film. He's great off the edge and he attacks the QBs and RBs with violence. His motor is always going.

I don't see why people say he's too small to play OLB. His measurables are below. He's a former basketball player with very good feet. He's got to work on his bull rush and his run defense, but as a pass rush specialist and special teamer, he can make this team. Great pick.

Here are his Pro Day stats from March:

Keion Adams -- Defensive end
Height: 6’ 2”
Weight: 247 pounds
Hand: 9.5 inches
Wingspan: 78.25 inches
Bench press: 27 x 225 pounds
Vertical jump: 36 inches
Broad jump: 10 feet, 4 inches
40 time: 4.68 seconds
Short 20 shuttle: 4.35 seconds
60 yard shuttle: 11.12 seconds

Not to mention 27 reps at 225 is strong as fuck. Edit: would have tied for most by a LB at combine.

Franco, I watched some Adams vids last night and quickly became optimistic. Couldn't understand the consternation about the pick. Seems well worth a 7th round flyer, it seems. Then again, I had high hopes for that Miami kid last year they picked up late....we'll see.

Yup. He has explosive numbers. The 36" vertical and big wingspan are great as well. Obviously his level of competition wasn't the SEC, but he has the tools and motor.

I came into this draft wanting at least 2 edge rushers. You can never have enough. I hope the kid can make the team on special teams and go from there.
