This looks like the "drive Ben into retirement sooner" draft! He would not have been very happy, that's for sure!

I think Chris Carson and Robert Tonyan are better fits for this offense than the two skill position players selected, and Rush is prepared to be a better backup in 2016 than Dobbs, meaning he might save a game that gives Ben a better chance to succeed in the playoffs. Tonyan is the TE/WR version of Smith-Schuster's WR/TE, with very similar measurables but probably a better insurance policy against Green. Carson is a better athlete and perhaps better pro than Conner-- but we'll have to wait and see.

Anyway, if the defense doesn't get better, it'll surely drive Ben into retirement sooner, rather than later.
