THAT is how you make a UDFA splash.
Make your first signing a long snapper

Would you rather they had used a draft pick?

This draft has taken on a whole new aura of weird for me. Watch it be the best draft in 15 years....

#Longhorns DL Chris Nelson will go as a UDFA to the #Steelers per source. PIT had him as a priority first-wave signing and the fit is good given the depth chart. #HookEm https://twitter.com/AlexDunlapNFL/statu ... 5940886533

They weren’t drafting this kid. Texas A&M way too far of a drive

Dravon Askew-Henry- 3 year starter...4 Career Int's. Will have to make the team as a special teams player. I question if he can play FS in the NFL. He is not a bum...Not sure if he is an NFL player. Older prospect

5-10 195
4.5
35 inch Vert
10.1 Broad
7.25 3 cone
4.46 shuttle

Chris Nelson- 29 starts. He is a weird guy. He caught my eye watching Poona Ford last year. Ford was fantastic as a rookie for the Seahawks. Nelson seems like a more powerful less athletic Hargrave to me. Nelson was the most dominant player at the shrine bowl

6-1 315

Defensive lineman Jay Hayes from Georgia has a deal as an undrafted free agent with the Steelers, according to his agent. He was a grad transfer from Notre Dame. https://twitter.com/marcweiszer/status/ ... 2010964993

Travon McMillian RB Colorado/Va Tech- Started career at VA Tech. Did not hit it off with Brian Fuentes. Transferred to Colorado. He is not another hammer. He has decent vision and some shiftiness. He has more speed than you think. Quick cuts.

5-11 208 Lbs

4.46 40
1.48 split 10 yard split
3,167 yards and 23 touchdowns on 650 carries (4.87 yards per carry; added 49 career receptions for 479 yards and eight touchdowns

Had a real nice pro day..

Jay Hayes Notre Dame/UGA- He didnt get much done at UGA(Tyler Clark 2020 top 10 pick ahead of him) as a grad transfer. He was excellent at Notre Dame in 2017 Very high motor. Very energetic on every snap. Chases plays downfield. A really good athlete for a big dude. Quick and active off of the snap. Really quick hands.

I won't be shocked if he is the UDFA steal the Steelers need

Trevor Wood Texas AM 6-5 265

Run blocking tight end. Stiff as a board in the passing game. He run blocks better than some LT in the NFL. Pure run blocker. Great teammate/ Team leader. Described as a meat head you want to go to war with

Fred Johnson Florida

6-7 335 pound right guard. He is what he is one big nasty hombre. 2 year starter. Ultra raw. Needs refinement. Rare tools.

Garrett Brumfield

6-5 305 pound guard. Total opposite player than Johnson. Very smart. technical. Knee injury cost him his draft slot. Prior to knee injury most likely a 5th round pick

He needs to lose about 20 pounds. He can re-anchor really well. Seems like a 9th linemen.
