RB here? Discuss...

I expected they would target safety, DLine or edge here with this pick. Even TE.

Maybe they're changing the philosophy of running a single RB into the ground. Will be nice to run out the clock and get short yardage pickups with Snell and give Conner a break

Good football player, but I have no idea how he fits in the 21st century NFL.

Great Uncle is Matt Snell of NY Jets fame back in the day.

Looks like a mixture of Bell and Alfred Blue, way more Blue though.

His claim to fame is YAC. Yards After Contact... Hard to bring down, not exactly a burner. 3 yards and a cloud of bodies? 8-)

The one thing I can say for Snell is that he was Kentucky's entire offense last year. Every team playing UK, who had a first rate defense, and a third rate offense, knew that you had to completely and utterly gameplan Snell.

would've preferred some help on the edge. I didn't see that our need was that great for RB.

With how often our seasons have been derailed by our starting RB getting hurt (among other reasons), I'm completely fine with getting capable bodies behind Conner.

Yes he was yesterday.

Steelers absolutely needed a 3rd RB

Hes our L Blount. Good comparison? Pats have always had 3 rbs and look what it does for them. Good pick

Edit: Disregard. Somehow missed that we didn't resign Ridley.

Not really. Blount had a better size//speed quotient. Snell isn't a true big back, but he isn't a breakaway guy either. I'm not honestly a huge fan of this pick.

I wanted Moreau there, because fuck Grimble. Almost guarantees they take Alize Mack with one of their sixth rounders.

Patriots played power football all year last year. Worked out pretty well for them.

But Snell isn't a true "power" back.

I really hope Snell takes #26. My kid has a Color rush LB jersey with sewn on letters that we can change.

So Snell and Bush both have NFL bloodlines.

Think that's interesting...not sure what that means if anything.

Means they have family who played in the NFL

I don’t think it’s a Colbert strategy

Coincidence yes
