"•A running back hit the market Thursday with the New York Jets’ release of Isaiah Crowell, who became expendable when the team added Le’Veon Bell. The 26-year-old Crowell rushed for 685 yards and six touchdowns in his only season with the Jets."

This guy is not bad, could he come cheap? Share some carries with Conner?

I think Samuels is fine as the backup. He looked good last year. Draft a RB3 or find a vet that isn't Stevan Ridley.

Serious, I don’t know what you guys are expecting. If you’re looking for a vet to come in knowing he’s going to be the #3 RB, and paying him as such, what you’re going to get is the Steven Ridley’s of the world.
A guy like Crowell isn’t coming to Pittsburgh to be a third stringer...
Better off using a day three pick...might find that diamond in the rough...who knows.

Maybe
A guy that has a decent agent should talk about the fact that his competition is as follows:

1- A back who hasn't played a full NFL season
2- A 2nd year player

His agent should also point out that it's one of the best Olines in the league and if he signs a 1 year deal and puts up big numbers, could get a decent payday the following season
