Why, exactly, would they want to bring back McCullers?

I know. Ill never understand why they think they have to keep every player they drafted and cant look for an upgrade.

McCullers - oxygen thief.

McCuellers and DHB should invest in Real Estate in the Pittsburgh area.

But,
I imagine that there is not much guaranteed on Big Dans contract.
And he should not make the final 53.

Then again, he was kept on the roster over James Harrision, who was actually playing on Sundays, getting after the QB and making plays.

McCullers was actually good when he played last season. He always pushed the pocket into the QB. His biggest problem is he is still the last person off at the snap.

2 years i always liked dan but a bit surprised maybe Dunbar really liked him. But i agree when on he can roll over the center and collapse a pocket.

You guys realize guys like McCullers and Berry can be cut for basically nothing if they’re outplayed at camp, right? Who cares.

Rogers signing worries me more than McCullers.

Big (lazy) Dan really shouldn’t see the field all that much.

Rogers on the other hand might be viewed as a key part of replacing AB.

Got Moncrief and now “landed” Rogers.

Guys like Deuce might feel that a team that was but “an unlucky bounce here and a bad kick there” from being a contender is now set at WR.

We aren’t.

One injury would turn an ok group into a bad one.

Need another WR in the mix.

Spending some dough on a guy like Tate would free up the draft big time as you could eliminate WR as a big need.

Probably low to no guarantees. It gives us depth heading into the offseason and camp.

Jordan Berry is the signing I'm more concerned about. He's shown me next to nothing in his tenure here. We rarely won the field position battle.

As for Berry we're gonna hear the BS about "continuity for our place kicker", since the Punter holds.

That in itself is going to push Berry if there are any "ties" in camp.
The best thing you can do as a GM is to take away safety nets and the toys of your HC who has proven less than adept at fielding quality ST's units

I am fucking serious...what do they see in him?

That continuity made Boswell All-World last year, now didn't it?

Why not just cut them and be done with it?

Two years ago I had the all 22 and if I recall correctly Big Dan was in there towards the end of the game and was not even trying. Barely engaged and trying to shed his block as the runner went right by him. Then you look at the Rams front line and how those guys are tossing 300 lb men like rag dolls in 2 seconds as they pursue the RB/QB, etc.and it make you want to puke.

I keep saying this since big Dan came in with his questionable motor....have a room setup in the offseason that video tapes every day 300 simulations against a tackling dummy to help develop a 1st move burst where he could get as low as possible.

Just blow up the center and disrupt every play regardless and this will exploit a hole that an LB could attack.

Berry got a 3.7M deal over 2 years, with a $750K signing bonus. He's not even worth half that.

I forgot what game I was watching of the Steelers where the team was pinned deepin their territory but the punter would punt it with high hang time and 50+ yards all game. Incredible field changer.

Yes! Good Recall....I remember everyone was saying this in the gameday chat. Flipped the field all day. Not enough emphasis is seen on this...especially when looking a the box score.
