29, Just got cut by the Redskins, played really, really well last year. Could be had on the semi-cheap it seems.

What do you say?

Cut Bostic and save $1.8M and take that and add in some more and go get him. I like his game.

Although, I still think ILB is their #1 objective in this draft.

I think their #1 objective is now WR but we'll see.

I loved him wanted him before he went to wash has his play slowed?
I not sure what their first priority but would not be surprised with a trade up

I'm with you, KC.

How I think they will go (Not necessarily what I would do)
1. WR Marquise Brown
2. ILB
3a. CB or EDGE
3b. TE

I think a lot of this has to do with where they see James Washington, in the present and the future. Was he drafted in the second round a year ago to be an upgrade over Eli Rogers? Or was he picked to be a number two/one WR when AB moved on? Is he ready to step into a second WR role in 2019? Their answers to those questions are really the deciding factor in where their offensive priorities are in the draft.

you can Most likely get a very good WR in round two but not sure your going to find that playmaker ILB in the second round.

I’m not sure you’re going to find him in the first round.

They need two. Neither one of the “starters” is good enough.

Jobus don't think we can trade up for White?
and don't think Bush is that playmaker?

I don’t like Bush at all. I’m a Big Ten guy. I’ve seen him plenty. He can run...he can’t play.
I like White, but I liked him more a week ago than I do now. I’ve been seeing stuff that I wasn’t aware of. Regardless, the Steelers aren’t moving up. One...they don’t do that, and two...they don’t have the luxury of giving up day two draft picks to do so.

Not to uncan worms or beat the dead horse, but might the ab bullshit have had some effect on Washington’s development? Maybe a change of atmosphere might help the kid.

They tried to shop him, and his salary was only $5-6M.

Might be a medical flag on him

Won't Marquis Brown be gone by 1.20 anyway?

I dunno man. They traded up for Troy and I believe traded up for Holmes as well. So it’s not like there isn’t presedent.

And I’d take the opposite side of that arguement. That being, they can’t afford to miss or draft jags with their early picks.

If it was almost a certainty they’d hit on their theee first pics I’d risk the other 7.

We going to miss out on another Doran Grant etc in the 4th?

We need an ILB and WR that can start immediately. Trade up if need be to secure studs at those positions.

Agreed.

NO chance the Steelers draft that kid. None.

I think they go:
1. ILB
2. WR
3. TE
4. CB or S
5. BPA....

Now that the NYG also have a big time need at WR and that new second pick in the first round (17) what WR will be gone when we’re on the clock?

Troy and even Holmes were a long time ago, but I guess there’s always a chance.
Problem is that I don’t think they are moving the 10 or so spots by giving up a 4th and swap. Kevon Colbert won’t be talking to Kevin Colbert on the other end of that line. It’s going to cost them one of the day two picks. And not even White is a sure thing...

My guess...
1. BPA position of Need
2. BPA position of need
3a. BPA position of need
3b. BPA position of need
4a. BPA
5a. BPA
5b. BPA
6a. Traded Up (5b.)
6b. Traded Up (5b.)
6c. BPA
7. BPA

If the Steelers draft AB's cousin with the nickname Hollywood. I'm done with this team for good until Colbert and Tomlin are both gone. 100% done and rooting against them.

I could see the kid trotting in late to the practice field and Tomlin, putting the kid in a gentle headlock, rubbing his hair and saying, don't you just love this kid....
