draft and sign some elite defensive players and convince him he's going to be more marketable and richer after the team wins a couple of Super Bowls.
But then he'd throw a hissy fit because he didn't get the game winning TD catch. And JuJu did. I'm not sure he'd be happy with a 3 catch, 35 yard game in the SB while JuJu gets 10 for 180 and 2 td's. You?

The reports were that his antics disrupted the team at least for the first half of the last bengals game. How do we know that didn't happen for a few of the other bad losses?

I love me some AB on the field when Bidnez is Boomin' but aside from that, the live streaming from the locker room sealed it for me. He's a narcissistic asshole that is toxic for the team. How many losses and interceptions can you attribute to him because BR had to keep him happy? Maybe the same amount of wins because he balled out? Who knows.

The steelers would need value for a trade. Big value. Question is, does that value exist without expecting the moon and stars?

It's not quite the same thing but it's close.

In 2004, Plaxico Burress was Ben's favorite target and easily the most talented WR on the team.

We let him go and kept Hines Ward, Antwaan Randle El, and not much else (Lee Mays, anyone?) I remember people saying losing Plaxico meant the offense would take a big hit.

We picked up Cedrick Wilson and Quincy Morgan...and won a Super Bowl.

Demand and offers are apperently big so how about AB + pick 20 to the Cards for the #1 pick in the draft. Steelers take Nick Bosa

IMO, they need to turn AB into 2 high picks - 1 to get a defensive difference maker, and another to get a WR that can contribute very soon.

I don't know how the "value" works, but thinking something like #10 and #74 (1st and 3rd).....or a top-5 pick, where you could trade back to #8 or #10 and probably get their R2.

They've got their own R1 and R2 to grab another receiver, but to improve the team you really need at least #10 and a player/R3. Otherwise you're moving a generational player for a lottery pick, and in the short-term inevitably means you go backwards.

This is where I am at.

The Steelers better not fuck this up. Ben getting a shot at another ring depends on not fucking this up.

Best bet is to assume they will fuck it up (badly) and then be pleasantly surprised if they only fuck it up mildly.

Seriously, Jeems, you're going to compare Plaxico Burress to Antonio Brown, and say that the comparison is "close."

Plaxico, Ben's "favorite target," catching 35 balls on the season while Hines Ward caught 80. But Plaxico was the fave??

I think if PIT can get at least a top-10 pick - and no indications they wouldn't - then he's gone.

If the best they can do is something lower than a #15, then I'd lean toward not biting. Of course, PIT could be overconfident in their ability to draft a receiver.

But what should scare everyone is they'll be happy with JuJu, Washington and Eli....and wait until R3 or R4 to draft another receiver.

They’re not getting a top 10 pick, what are you smoking? A guy with that contract, gonna be 31. They will be lucky to get a 2nd rounder and maybe a 3rd or 4th. Not sure where you get your info from.

Teams don't think that way. There are coaches and GM's on the hot seat that need to win now. They are less concerned with what that top-10 pick will be in 2 or 3 years when they might not be there.

Falcons are ridiculous, unless we’re trading him for Ridley or Julio Jones.

Lions have Slay, good young CB. Cards, Raiders, Jets, Panthers, 49ers I see as options.

falcons also have trufant or maybe vic beasley as a reclamation project and deion jones

I wouldn't mind Pitts making a deal with Atl if they threw Beasley in the mix.
