I also prefer the old 10 posts per page.....the new way is fine if I hit refresh it takes me where I was. But when I make a post, then I have to scroll up to see everything I missed, then back down to where I was. Just back arrow to the page you were on and hit reload

I still like the old 10 posts per page a lot better. Don’t fix it if it ain’t broke.

Why do prefer the other?

Tradition. Shorter pages, less scrolling. This way isn’t terrible but it’s the switching back and forth too. If the majority like the longer pages I’ll concede.

Don't have to scroll. Just reload and it will take you back to where you started.

Considering how much better the defense has played since the longer post count thread was initiated, I'm thinking....

I almost always use my iPhone and it doesn’t take me back to the same spot, but I reload in address bar, is there another way? If longer threads mean more wins and better defense, sure. But that strikes me as superstition, just maybe, I mean it didn’t go well against the Ravens.

I have to laugh. Stosh was right on with thie quote above. I assumed we went back to what it was before the balmore game. And then I made the 10 page comment and fell right into his Wil E Coyote trap!

If someone wants to get crazy, you can apply a style to the server this forum is hosted on...it is a PHPBB style that then automatically detects mobile phones and then gives a mobile version. That can be hit or miss, but some conversions are great...think Reddit. I will certainly not suggest it :)

backpage on your safari until you get to the page you were on, then hit the reload button

Protect Ben. Beasley has been getting after the QB. He is fast, loves that speed move around the edge, will swipe at the ball if close, etc.
A. Villy has to play his best game. Double TE sets have to punish him in the run game and pass game.
B. Use Beasleys aggressiveness to burn him with some inside runs to his side. and some quick hitters to the TE and slot on his side.

Takarist McKinnly needs to eliminated by Gilbert.

For the sanity of game planning and offensive minded football.............
Please involve the other RB's.
Out of 294 offensive snaps after 4 weeks of football..................our #2 and # 3 have a combined 8 snaps.
That is just mind boggling, stubborn, ignorant, unaware, oblivious or all of the above.

Of my pre-game keys.

Only 1 turnover - was preventable.

OL did a great job protecting Ben.
Zero sacks allowed.
Do not recall hearing Beasley of Takarist name at all. Beasley kept off the stat sheet all together.

As great as Conner was yesterday, we still need to get other backs involved and keep JC fresh for 4th quarter.
They did a little more of this yesterday as Boo Ridley had 5 carries.
Tho this may have been due to the big lead.

Ridley and Samuels had 8 combined snaps in the first 4 games.
They had 14 combined snaps in yesterday game.
Positive steps.

I think when Bell comes back, the PS may have the best 1-2 combo in the league.

Play like you have been coached before.
No blown assignments.
Cohesion.
Pressure Ryan up the middle. Move his feet. Same as what they did to Fitz...but failed to implement against Flacco.
Make Ryan move his feet.
Disrupt the run by going up the gut at the QB.
Tuit. Cam. Hargrave.....need to wake up and start creating penetration into the backfield by defensive lineman. Its been non existant.

Speed and suddenness on defense. Blitz often.
Tipped balls. Turnovers.
Short fields. Points.

Of my pre-game defensive keys.

They certainly gave Ryan the jitters with the constant blitzing and pressure as linemen, lb's and db's all pressured and hit Ryan.
That defensive game plan was successful vs. TB and Fitz.
Why they failed to implement this against Flacco was a questionable.

Sure, we did not have Hilton last week, but the next man up, the standard is the standard, we still needed to somehow pressure Flacco last week, rather than sit back and let him pick us apart on third downs.
Cam and Hargrove played better games.
Still waiting for Tuit to bust-up a few plays /runs in the backfield.

I thought one of the announcers mentioned (or sideline reporter) that Tomlin's plan was to implement all 3 backs yesterday, including Samuels. Can't blame game flow for this one. How many snaps did Samuels get? I don't recall seeing him.

Ridley got 12 snaps
Samuels got 2. I believe his first 2 offensive snaps of year.

They were the first two offensive snaps for Samuels. One was a 3rd down play where he was motioned wide to the near sideline and the throw went inside to AB.

Quote:
Beasley kept off the stat sheet all together.

He had an offside... does that count?
