I think Franklin is not quick enough to make it in the NFL, but he does a lot of things. Redman is probably a decent comp. Supposedly, Chris Warren III is still deciding between several offers, and it totally wouldn't surprise me if the Steelers are in the running. He fits their style, is a three-down player, and is in another talent universe from Franklin.

Is there any reason to think they'll move Ikenna Nwokeji back to DLine?

Didn't see this name Charvarius Ward anywhere on teams UDFA lists. What happened to ward? This guy was definitely on my list for late round pick. Priority Free Agent. Anyone know?

Ward signed with the Cowboys.

If he can get the ball in space though, he's a threat. If they eliminate kickoff returns, his value drops.

While his value may drop he still can return punts.

Florida State ILB Matthew Thomas is a sleeper to make the roster. Physically he seems like a 4th round talent. If he plays well he could take Dirty Red or Fort's spot.

Thomas has out of this world physical traits. Problem is that he has a 10 cent head at times. When I watch his film, I wonder what the hell he is thinking out there. It's almost like he spaces out.

Athletically, he's a stud. Could switch to DB, could, with practice, improve at WR. Great signing.

I disagree. I think Matthew Thomas has an outside chance to get playing time with the 1s. Dirty Red is never going to play Mack for this team, unless it's an emergency. Matakevinch was SOOOOOO bad in goal line defense (the one place he got snaps) that I can only imagine the ways in which he'd be humiliated as a starter.

Ola has a chance to make the team too. He is a better player than Keion Adams. Not to mention, there is zero depth at OLB.

I'll take that bet. I can see Ola on the practice squad but I think Adams fits their system a whole lot better, because of his position flexibility.

Thomas and Patrick Morris have the best chances to make the 53 but still a big uphill climb.

I knew more about Prince than I did about the guy we drafted in the 3rd round.

16 Patrick Morris, TCU, OG

The 6-3, 300-pound junior guard made First-Team Academic All-Big 12 last year and had a 3.6 GPA. He’s the latest strongman to come through the Horned Frogs program. Morris has a 500-pound bench, a 720-pound squat and cleans 450. “We always stop whatever we’re doing when he’s about to lift,” said TCU senior DE Josh Carraway.

I like him more than I liked Finney, and I think Finney is pretty good.

Parker Cothren DT Penn State
Jarvion Franklin RB Western Michigan
Greg Gilmore DE LSU
Quadree Henderson WR Pittsburgh
Trey Johnson CB Villanova
Patrick Morris C TCU
Olasunkanmi Adeniyi LB Toledo
Chris Schleuger G UAB
Jamar Summers CB UCONN
Matthew Thomas LB Florida State
Kendal Vickers DE Tennessee

I think one or more of these players could make some noise and end up on the roster or at least the practice squad

Steelers did a real nice job with the UDFA's IMO

I know I'm belaboring the point here, but the last unheralded Wilmington kid my buddy Paul (our HC) raved about as hard as he is for Dree was Briean Boddy-Calhoun, who's actually turned out to be a player in Cleveland, and part of the reason Joe Haden was at the Pens game last night.
