Anderson is a better option than Frenchy or Ridley.

They asked him to take a pay cut because he’s a one-speed RB with slow pace to his game and he never gets explosive plays. Sign me up!

Sad isn't it? Still better than 2 of the bums on this roster.

I'd take Ridley over CJ.

I'd take Ridley and the chance that Conner improves over the overweight corpse of CJ Anderson.

1000 yds rushing and 30 catches last year as part of a shitty offense that was run first. I don't want to sign him, but he's far from the garbage you are making him out to be.

He won't be on the market long.

IMO Anderson's would be diminishing returns at the RB position. Conner is the heir apparent and Ridley gives us a nice 3rd down component. I think that the correct financial play is to get a late draft pick from a high producer at a small school that can contribute on ST while he's learning the position. I think that if Conner has a breakout year and contributes, all this is just "blind dog in the meat house" type talk.

Wasn't he with the 2015 Broncos?

Garbage? No. But he was being paid as a top 10 NFL running back, which he is not.

What sucks for Anderson is that we're a week out from the draft, and it is a pretty good RB class. I doubt he gets signed before May. Seems like a dick move by Elway.

This just in, aside from a couple of signings in the secondary and a couple years of draft luck, John Elway is not a very good GM.

Nobody on this board likes Conner. Nobody. You won't be getting any high fives here.

And this judgement is from college tape and the what, five carries he had during the season (yeah, I know it's probably more than five)?

How many players sucked their first year sitting behind a pro bowler?

You can probably credit Brian Xanders for those picks/signings. Elway took over shortly after the 2012 draft. Their drafting from 2013-now hasn't been good.

Ummm...I like Conner. But then, wouldn’t be the first time I’ve been called “Nobody”...
