Mike Tomlin not a fan of touchdown celebrations: "I just think it takes away from the game. It’s not a good look for young people. Young people aren’t allowed to celebrate in that way, so why should we?"

Meanwhile, the Steelers' celebrations were featured every week...

He could do something about it, but he'd risk getting kicked out of the weekly ping pong tournament.

(Really, I couldn't care less about celebrating. Just couldn't pass up the chance for another tomlin joke).

Here we go again! Celebrations are HARMLESS they effect nothing, not celebrating wouldn't win a Super Bowl nor would celebrating prevent a Super Bowl. The teams win/loss record would be the same with or without celebrating. The celebrating debate is over, who cares?

I don't care about celebrations either.

But if Tomlin had such a big issue with it, why didn't he handle his players accordingly? Does he say this stuff because he actually believes it? And if so, why not actually do something about it?

The Eagles had a couple of good ones. Didn't seem to hurt their results much. Sounds to me like he's personally not a fan, but he's okay with his players having fun and expressing themselves if that's what they want to do. Not much to see here.

How much do you pay for that service if you don’t mind me asking? I didn’t re-up for DK after 3 years. The PG wants $120+.

We have found something Tomlin and I agree on ;)
it's not that I hate celebrations or that I think anything should be done to stop it
I do think as currently practiced it wears thin, millionaires celebrating Even the small things is bad for business and the idea that is really an important form of "expression" for a younger generation is complete and utter rubbish on many points.

Tomlin should tell his team that he doesn’t like celebrations.
This guy is so inconsistent and full of shit it’s laughable.
How many stupid costly celebration penalties did this team get when they were illegal?I can specifically remember Will Gay getting some and then the team getting a group celebration penalties

Not suprised though, this is the same coach who doesn’t live in his fears yet he basically went into victory formation up by 8 halfway through the 4th qtr against N.E.

Not really, So Tomlin is against celebrations, but it's good that he lets his players do them, because the players have fun and like celebrating, so why ruin moral over something that doesn't effect the outcome of a single game, Celebrate, don't celebrate, it won't effect the score of a single fucking game....

And by the FUCK YOU c*nt!

But celebrations are legal now and the only people who care are over the hill stupid old school Yinzer fucks. So banning celebrations doesn't help anyone in any way.

It's so sad, Facebook is now pussified, I've been banned for a month from there for extreme, brutal political incorrectness, now even this place is becoming weak and disallowing free speech.

The truth is, the whole celebration thing has been resolved, it's not a topic anymore, CELEBRATING IS LEGAL. It's like gay marriage, no use discussing it anymore, why bother? It's over, it's allowed. It's such an insignificant thing, IT ALWAYS WAS NOT WORTH DISCUSSING, it always SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALLOWED. It's harmless, it's always been harmless.

The reason I posted it is because of the irony.

Tomlin supposedly isn't a fan, but his team takes him to choreograph shit every week. But damned if those players and coaches can show up to meetings and walkthroughs on time...

Thankfully the NFL saved Tomlin from himself since he couldn't get these idiots to listen to him

Being politically incorrect and actually having a point is a lot different than being an annoying moron.

You seem to get the two confused rather frequently.

irony would be pointing out execution on celebrations was often better than execution on the field....
