The Green Bay Packers signed Jahri Evans for LG and drafted a brawler for RG. Still seeking interior help that can play all the IOL positions, and maybe win a job at center, the Pack selects a mobile, Maurkice Pouncey-type center, who also has the pass protection ability he'll need to protect the franchise from pressure in his face:

The San Francisco 49ers go wayyyyyyyyyyyy off the board with a sleeper pick. I heard they were tipped off to this player by a local scout.

Quote:
the most underrated running back in college football. Known as the “D-Train”, in the small community of Cullowhee where his school is located, he ruled the Southern Conference in his four-year career.

... finished second in school history in rushing yards (3,728 ) and rushing touchdowns (37) in only 43 games. He ranks first in all-time total touchdowns (46) and first in all-purpose yards (6,969). In addition, he caught 109 receptions for 962 receiving yards.

...His ability to extend plays and fight for extra yards is unparallel to any other player in the draft.

... (led) the FCS for a second-straight season, averaging 170.67 all-purpose yards per game. He was named first-team All-Southern Conference by both the coaches and the media and was selected to six All-America post-season teams including first-team as an all-purpose back by STATS, FCS, the AFCA, and HERO Sports.

He doesn’t have the desired explosive speed, but once he gets going, there is no stopping him. He is overwhelmingly strong and has one of the nastiest stiff arms I have ever seen. He can lower his head and run over defenders while also having the ability to burn slot corners on wheel routes... heavy style of running...

... also set the SoCon kick return yardage single-game record, with 240 return yards and a returned touchdown against South Carolina.

From his sophomore to senior season he played against six FBS teams, consisting of Hawaii, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, East Carolina, and South Carolina. He averaged five yards per rushing attempt, seven receiving yards per reception, and 24 yards per kickoff return in these games, scoring five total touchdowns.

The 49ers select:

The Los Angeles Rams have done a lot to fill in their team during free agency and the draft to this point, but they still need some depth at WR to fill the Sammy Watkins and late night phone calls void. The Rams select Jake from State Farm:

With their last pick in the draft, the Chiefs take Aaron Stinnie, OT, James Madison.
