I’m heading up a group of hardcore posters to attend the Combine and report our findings to provide all of us the insight needed for the mock draft.

So far:

STD - 40 times and verticals

computerjumpstar - Psychologcal interviews

Ron - Name evaluations

Steelers4Tim - RB receiving drills

IC - veteran leadership questionnaires

Switz - scouting for Cowboys

Pittsburgh - Wonderlic analysis

Hi5 - scouting girlfriends and wives

Nick79 - QB arm strength

Need people to step up for

HIG Factor analysis
“Take away his long runs” RB review
Violent men study
JAG compilation
DND List
Dong Sack Study
And many others

PM me if interested and list your desired area of study

Airfare is on each of you. I’ve booked the Presidential Suite at the Ritz Carlton thanks to Hi5 and his Amex Platinum card. Easily accommodates 20 people.

I could come up with a rather large DND list.

I'll come along only if I can ease into the combine. Then I will rank players by my gut wearing ultra-cool aviators, if you will.

I was just thinking about some of the old stillers.com posters or poasters. It's going on almost 20 years isn't it?

So I hate math but by my count it has to be at least 20 years.

To the newbies that need to be filled in, I'm sure there is a post here that someone put together some great points of stillers' board so posters here wouldn't be so lost. I have no idea who wrote it or if it could be dug up but when you comment about there must of been some great stories from that place, that would be an understatement. I liken it to 20 years worth of grown ass men (sorta like a locker room) busting each other balls, wishing cancers on others' balls etc, you know good ole fashioned ball busting and in general guy talk for talking shit, accomplishments, etc etc etc etc.

With the good times there's been some sad times too. We've lost a couple posters over the years and damn if it isn't like losing a friend in real life. This is the best place on the internet for every fucking thing I want to read, daily.

Wasn't there a Ravens fan named Brian as well? Who was the guy always posting pictures of dog's asses when he was in an argument?

It was a daytime drama. Remember the conspiracy that Swiss was trolling the site using an alias? The subplots on that site were a scream.

I loved computerjumpstar. What ever happened to him?

Last I heard he was working for Lockheed Martin in their rocket engine division.

I'll gladly run the Tomlin-isms Bingo game. Wiff my Aviators on, obviously.

Can't let this go without offering a point of correction, RS.

The Barney in question is Rubble, not Fife.

Hahahaha!! I wish I could remember the guy's name. It was specifically Jack Russell Terriers that he was into.

The sad part is Stillers.com started off much like this site- with some of the greatest Steelers and general football analysis by "non-profressionals" you were likely to find anywhere...Mill...Phantom...Trap....I know there were others.

Then it degenerated...pretty rapidly after the Steelers finally broke the Super Bowl drought, IIRC, when Mill couldn't even be happy about that, and denigrated the shit out of the Steelers' Super Bowl XL victory.

Little more context to this story actually, Jeems. Yes, Mill didn't share in the celebratory mood post SB XL, but it WAS a joyous time on stillers.com. There were daily "What do you Asshats (fill in the blank)..." articles, unbridled PEIS (Post-Euphoric Immersion Syndrome), etc.

The downfall of Stillers.com though commenced with the founding of this esteemed website by Fury, who was Still Trivia on Stillers. Mill was very protective of his front page, always maintained that his front page readers far exceeded the forum participants (don't know if I ever believed that), and thus considered the forums a playground for the site's miscreants. Mill, honestly, harbored some jealousy toward FC as an analyst, and went ape-shit when Fury (who was more or less in charge of daily operations), put FC's Gospel on the Stillers front page. Mill took it down. Fury asked me, who communicated regularly with Mill, to see if I could talk some sense into him. Fury and Mill were good friends, having served together at ....Fort Leavenworth?? Anyway, Mill was a good dude, but there was no talking to him when once he'd made up his mind about something.

The site split, I stuck with Stillers, referred to this esteemed website as Across the Street, but after a few bannings from Stillers, I wandered across the street....had a few more banning here. Then, there was Stillers-Forums as well, which had a following for awhile. I forget the guy's name that ran that site.....MC, something like that.

Anyway.....Fury came into being right on the eve of the '06 season. That's when it all came to a head.

Strangely, MC just wandered back home to stillerfans.yuku, and closed the door on the place, after who knows how many years.
