I kinda liked Ridley. Thought he out performed Toussaint who's been on the roster for what? 3 years? Hunter hardly ever saw the field. Not sure what the hell happened there. Hunter is still fairly young and could return on the cheap. Not a bad re-sign. Ducre I know little to nothing about. He is hard pressed to find a roster spot. Perhaps he's PS'd again this season. I fear they do re-sign Mitchell and he starts again this season. Matthews comes from good bloodlines and hasn't been developed into a role yet. I hope they bring him back. Could back up center behind Pouncey while Finney and feiler backup guard and Hawkins swing OT.

The #Browns are expected to sign former #49ers RB Carlos Hyde, source said. He’s getting a three-year deal worth more than $15M, including $6M in year 1. https://twitter.com/i/web/status/973886706809233408
There goes the desired backup/starter and neighborhood....Stains really exercising their best efforts to get better. So far on paper? They have been accomplishing it. Draft ought to be very interesting.

Patriots have made a contract offer to A.J. McCarron, per source. https://twitter.com/kirkmin/status/973870561456787456
Guessing the 'rumors' of Brady hanging them up have some legs....

How can this team go into next season with Mitchell on the roster...and starting?

No way a rookie could play worse than he did last year. This news makes me want to puke.

I think they pretty much have to take Josh Allen.

Barkley would be the better pick though.

Bradham back to Philly for 8M a season.

McKinnon goes to SF for 30M over 4 years. I hoped he'd be an option if they somehow didn't keep Bell, but 7.5M per season is pretty rich.

Are you guys unfamiliar with the way Steelers free agency works?

All the prizes go to the cool kids for a few days, and once the music stops, whomever is left without a seat gets offered a bargain basement deal. #SteelersFAPeriod

The #Giants are expected to sign former #Patriots LT Nate Solder, source said. They get their franchise left tackle. Huge get.

Man, BB and the Pats are going to clean up (as usual) on comp picks next year.

Wow, Solder gets $15M/per for four years. Suckers.
Think about it. I'd say Villy actually played better than him (or at least as well) and we got him last year with a four year contract for 40% of what Solder is getting. That's huge.

love it.

Butler.
Soldier
Amendola
Lewis.

Gronk retiring and the prick Edelman losing a step back from AcL would be icing on the pie.
Since it is pie day

Barkley first and Allen 4th makes the most sense.

And they have pick 33 and 35!
To add OL and defense.

Yeah, they have to get their QB of the future this draft. With all of the top tier talent they are amassing over the last few years, they're going to need the money they would pay be paying a franchise QB to pay everyone else over the next five years. Draft one now and if he works out you don't have to pay him big bucks until five years down the road. Meanwhile, you have a shitload of prime aged talent around him during that period.

If the Browns don't 'Brown', they should be really good in the next year or two.

The bills are gonna trade up to #3 and imo are targeting Allen.

And heres another major reason a RB at #1 makes little sense. Contract implications.

From Josh Norris of Rotoworld.

Quote:
If Saquon Barkley is the first pick in the draft he will roughly be the 4th highest paid running back in the NFL. Immediately. A quarterback selected first would roughly be the 25th highest paid player at his position. Having a quarterback on a rookie deal instantly creates a window to win thanks to the value it presents.

Ya its gonna be QB at #1 (Darnold imo) and bpa at #4 imo

Question...of the 2nd round RFA tenders offers out there so far, who would you consider grabbing in exchange for our second round pick? Anyone?

I would seriously consider Dallas' DT/DE, David Irving. That dude (if he has mentally matured enough - he's an immature 24) is going to be a beast this year. I could see us cutting Alualu, saving $3M and signing him. He could rotate in along the line as a pass rush specialists. He may not be a perfect fit for what we do, but man, he is a pass rush demon and a good run blizter on his way to the QB.

I think Allen is secretly coveted and will go before 4

do you have a link that shows the RFA offers? i admit to not really caring about any other team but the Steelers when it comes to RFA

Not one that's particularly up to date and in a list format, but I've gotten most of my info from here.

Last I heard he was a pretty good playmaker at safety.
