?

By the way, my friend has been working on Dr. Pol since the beginning and another is developing a rancher show-- I did a horse racing show with the Dr. Pol guy and almost worked on both.

Yes...but to watch those streams don't you have to have to have a TV subscription?

Or can you pay a bunch of ala carte fees to each of the streaming channels you'd like to look at and it'll still be cheaper than a TV/Internet bundle?

Finally...need to find an Internet provider that doesn't gouge me for not having a TV bundle with it.

So maybe I'm not quite ready to cut the cord as I haven't done all the research yet.

You can get something like slingTV, although Nat Geo might be available on Hulu or Amazon... I'm not sure. Still less expensive to a la carte, depending on your specific needs. It's related to my professional business, so I have Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Showtime, & HBO, along with a low-priced internet and a digital tv antenna. I can't remember the last time I couldn't watch something I wanted to watch, occasionally with some further digging online.

EDIT: Dr. Pol is available with Hulu subscription, so I'm guessing other Nat Geo shows are, as well.

Nat Geo is a channel you get with DirectTV. Dr. Pol is on all the time.

Do you know where I can look for cheap unbundled Internet?

Can easily get off my phone as we have everyone call the cell anyway.

And I already have a Netflix and get Amazon Prime for half off since my kid’s in college.

Almost there!

Did anyone hear Colbert comments about FA for the Steelers?

In my area I have a skinny bundle from comcast. It gives you standard def ABC, NBC, Fox, CBS, PBS, and another local channel plus internet. It started out as 40 something a month promo and it has peaked at 70 something a month. Still not bad.
