What would a SteelerFury Board draft be without someone picking a player who’s already been picked?

Patriots draft is finished. Would've like to get a couple more picks in, but I like the group overall:

1.31 Mike Hughes, CB, UCF
2.43 Sam Hubbard, EDGE, Ohio St.
2.63 Christian Kirk, WR, Texas A&M
3.95 Genard Avery, LB, Memphis
4.136 Kyle Lauletta, QB, Richmond
6.202 Martez Carter, RB, Grambling St.

Texans' 2018 Draft Selections: With zero picks in the first few rounds, the Texans know they have to help their young, promising, QB and strengthen their pass defense. So, they added much needed talent to the O line and DB rooms, followed up with some D line depth and three big dart throws at the offensive skill positions. Between this draft and our continued FA adds, we hope Deshaun Watson can lead us to the playoffs and more next year.

3. 68) DeShon Elliott, SS, Texas
3. 80) Chukwuma Okorafor, OT, Western Michigan
3. 98) Wyatt Teller, OG, Virginia Tech
4. 103) Kevin Toliver II, CB, LSU
6. 177) R.J. McIntosh, DT, Da U
6. 211) Auden Tate, WR, Florida State
6. 214) Josh Adams, RB, Notre Dame
7. 222) Jordan Akins, TE, Central Florida

Nothing beats the time I picked two QB's with my first two picks - Christian Ponder and Andy Dalton if I remember right. Too many Yuenglings.

That was HOF worthy.

Me: You are up in the draft, sir.
Charles Demarr: I'll need about an hour. I'm at the bar. <beer mug>
Me: <thumbs up>

... one hour later
Me: What round are you guys on at the bar, because we're on the 7th round here.

Ryan Izzo was the TE I wanted the whole time. I waited and waited and waited and thought for sure he'd fall to me at the end of the draft.

Dammit.

Lions final draft haul:

1.) Sony Michel RB Georgia B+
2.) Da’Shawn Hand DE Alabama C+
3.) Quinn Blanding S Virginia C
4.) Allen Lazard WR Iowa St. C
5a.) Mason Cole C Michigan A
5b.) Tyler Conklin TE CMU B
7.) Logan Woodside QB Toledo Homer pick

B- / C+ My picks were sniped in every round. Mason Cole may end up the best pick in this Lions draft. Fills an immediate need, could be a 10 year NFL starter. Michel gives them the RB they have been missing for the past 5 years. I like Conklin as well, especially after they cut Ebron.

B2B thanks for all the work you put in during this process.

I think the draft was outstanding this year. Seems like everyone made quality choices, the board had very few guys who dropped way too far (they usually had some big question marks and may have deserved to fall), not too many head-scratchers. My theory is that the internets and twitter and youtube are making the draft research a whole lot easier. Still plenty of prospects I learned about here, both from researching myself or from everyone else's picks.

It went so smoothly once again and that is cause of you b2b. Again it was a blast as it is every year.
Thanks for your efforts and provide me an address where I can send you a signed Troy Loney NHL puck!

LA Chargers 2018 Haul:

1.17 Vita Vea, NT, Washington
2.48 Orlando Brown Jr., OT, Oklahoma
3.84 Mason Rudolph, QB, Oklahoma St.
4.119 Jordan Lasley, WR, UCLA
5.155 Godwin Igwebuike, S, Northwestern
6.191 Dimitri Flowers, RB, Oklahoma
7.251 Colby Gossett, G, Appalachian State

Loved that Vitameatavegamin fell to us at 17. I haven't seen a Mock Draft yet that had him going that far down. Orlando Brown, Jr., had a bad combine, but he was solid with the Sooners, so we'll give him the benefit of the doubt. We think Phillip Rivers will be a great mentor to Mason Rudolph, and that Rudolph will seamlessly take over the reins from him. We really believe Godwin Igwebuike at safety is a sleeper pick and may turn out to be the star of this class.

The Pittsburgh Steelers 2018 B2B draft class.

2 60 PIT - B2B - Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota State
3 72 PIT fr NYJ via CLE) - B2B - Anthony Miller, WR, Memphis
3 82 PIT (fr DET) -B2B - Uchenna Nwosu, LB, Southern California
5 148 PIT - B2B - Skai Moore, LB, South Carolina
6 183 PIT (fr LAR via MIA) - Dane Cruikshank, S, Arizona
6 196 PIT (fr LAR) - B2B - Chris Warren, RB, Texas
7 220 PIT - B2B - Folorunso Fatukasi, DL, Connecticut
7 246 PIT - B2B - Darius Jackson, EDGE, Jacksonville State

I think I may have made a mistake in drafting Miller-- if I had just stuck with my picks and drafted Nwosu there, then I would have gotten Ballage and Deontay Burnett at 196, which would have been outstanding. Also made a minor mistake taking Warren at 196 and then having to sweat it out for Fatukasi to fall, which he did. Otherwise, I feel pretty good about this draft. I understand that not too many have bought into the Shaquem train but, even if he struggles, I built in some insurance.

This is a class I could get behind... really nice mix.

Thanks again for all your work on this, B2B. Total dedication and it's really appreciated. And hope your mom is doing better.

I don't really care for Marcus Allen at all... but despite that, this is an excellent class. Bryan is a great fit, Corbett and Madison fit their stye, Burnett is the youngest SPAQish WR in the draft and Deluca really worth a shot. Heart and soul of a good defense.
