Thanks for all the well-wishes and thought and prayers guys. Appreciated.

Oh, sure, the old "my mom's in the hospital" excuse. Just kidding, hope she's okay.

Dammit I was gonna take Callaway but decided to wait and see if he would fall another round.

Perch, it looks like you were playing firstpick/fanspeak with that thing. Sheesh.

pitty-- Siran Neal is the best slot CB/Big Nickel in this draft class, and one of the best I've seen in a long time. Imagine Mike Hilton with a safety's mentality. I'm not sure Neal would hold up as an every day outside CB, but he's a badass who can cover and blitz and play the run. If we didn't have both Hilton and Brian Allen, and I didn't draft Griffin, I would have targeted him in the 5th.

If the Browns fuck up the draft with all the resources they have , they are hopeless.

You didn't trade anything away for a future pick, which has been their MO, but yeah, it's a ridiculous embarrassment of riches, especially considering the trade and free agency spree by The Lake. They ought to be a good team, this season.

I’ll make a bold prediction. All 3 of my 5th round picks could go in the 3rd round of the real draft. Maybe not all of them will, but I’d bet they all go earlier than I got them and at least one goes in round 3.

Love the Cruikshank pick, B2B! He was going to be my pick this round.

Cruikshank would replace Golden as ST's ace.

I couldn't decide between Cruishank and Harrison-- we were essentially deciding between the same two guys.

Regarding Harrison, let me just leave this here-- the most ridiculously dominant OL highlight tape you'll ever see:

and in case that seems like a fluke, he did the same damn thing at Juco:

Harrison might be in the running for a medal in the reg flag Olympics. Multiple failed drug tests. Shows as lazy at times. Injury history.

I think Callaway has the gold locked up but Harrison is no slouch.

Perfect fit for the Bengals.

There are some real challengers for the red flag gold silver and bronze.

Chase Sutton- Tavares what’shisname from Washington state. Calloway. All solid.

BTW, Big ups to my Flag Football League teammate, Tahar, for stepping up to the plate to cover for the AWOL sgtrobo. Tahar is a solid Rams fan with a pretty realistic outlook, with a draft thrown at him despite no preparation. I told him it was just for the first pick to cover for sgtrobo, and it turned into a whole thing. Think he's done a good job so far.

1 23 LAR - Tahar - Jaire Alexander, CB, Louisville
3 87 LAR - Tahar - Duke Ejiofor, EDGE, Wake Forest
4 111 LAR - Tahar (fr MIA) - Marcell Ateman, WR, Oklahoma State
4* 135 LAR (fr NYG) - Tahar - Brandon Parker, OT, North Carolina A&T
6 175 LAR (fr PIT) - Tahar - Will Clapp, C, LSU
6 176 LAR (fr NYG) - Tahar - J'Mon Moore, WR, Missouri
6 194 LAR - Tahar -
6 195 LAR - Tahar -
7 241 LAR - Tahar -

Green Bay Packers draft to date

1.14 Marcus Davenport, DE/LB Texas San-Antonio
2.45 Mike Gesicki, TE PSU
3.76 Kemoko Turay, OLB, Rutgers
4.101 Anthony Averett, CB Alabama
4.133 Tegray Scales, LB Wisconsin
5.172 Trey Quinn, WR SMU
5.174 Natrell Jamerson, S Wisconsin
6.186 Cedric Wilson, WR BSU

I give myself a B- for this haul. There is definitely upside, but the floor is really low with this group. Davenport reminds me of Aldon Smith minus the issues. He could be awful too. Swung for the fences there. I love Averett as a slot corner in the NFL and think Wilson was solid value there in the 6th. Not to make an easy comparison but Quinn reminds me of Cooper Kupp in every way, not just the Caucasian way. I wish I'd taken Daesean Hamilton at every point rather than who I picked from 4.133 on down. Completely blew that. I think in my years of doing this exercise, this is my most disappointing performance so far. Maybe Gesicki turns into a Gronk/Graham clone and saves it for me.

The Colts are overjoyed with their draft. THey need so many positions that it is hard to miss. RT and both OGs were considered needs. Everyone did a run on CBs and LBs left good picks for the Oline.

Colts draft
1 3 IND - Bradley Chubb, EDGE, North Carolina State
2 36 IND - Isaiah Wynn, OG, Georgia
3 67 IND - Tyrell Crosby OT Oregon
4.104 IND - Jerome Baker LB Ohio State
5.140 IND - Davontae Harris, CB Illinois State
6.178 IND - Simmie Cobbs Jr. WR Indiana

To this point, I love my draft with one exception- I basically could have had everyone I realistic wanted and thought I could get-- but I messed up by greedily taking a WR on Day 2. If I had simply taken Nwosu there and kept my extra pick I gave up to get there, I could have picked RB Ballage & OL Harrison & a WR left at my next pick, instead of WR Miller + and whatever RB/OL might be available at this pick. As well as my first trade down worked out, I misplayed my 3rd pick and not sure I came out on the right end of that, unless Miller turns out to be Antonio Brown 2 and Ballage busts.

I like Ballage as a value pick but I’m not convinced he’s more than Benny Cunningham, a useful player and good pick up for sure, but not someone you’d ever call a steal.

I will admit, I have never heard of Chris Warren.

That’s funny, because I think Benny Cunningham or Zack Zenner are pretty good guys to have as a number two or three.

Chris Warren what is their starter for a good while. At Texas. With a lot of competition. So, he’s not a nobody.
