The perfect marriage:

I'd like to see Jeremy Hill in for a visit. Great rookie year, followed by a few bad ones. Not a ton of mileage and would be a solid back-up.

Tavon Austin as the #4 WR and PR/KR intrigues me as well.

I could keep listing players, but why bother.... We're signing Timmons and Mitchell at reduced rates. Yay.

I agree Demarr. It will be the usual MO for the Steelers. Rarely are they big players in FA. I suspect they'll stand by as teams scurry for their targeted FA's overpaying them while Pittsburgh sits back and waits for the frenzy to calm. Then with little fanfare they'll bring in some second tier [if they're lucky] FA's and several third/fourth tier scrap heap JAG types. My hopes from a 'window shopping perspective' are they sign at least one starter either at ILB, Safety or DLine. With the cap issues they have it's more a wish list at this point.

Safety prospects:
Tre Boston
Tyvon Branch

ILB prospects:
Nigel Bradham
Demario Davis

DLine prospects:
DaQuan Jones
Adrian Clayborn

I'd be happy with any of the first 4. Specifically Boston and Bradham.

I'd also be interested in Danny Woodhead. Always been a fan. I think he ends up back in SD though.

Just heard that the Steelers and Cowboys are the only two teams to not add or trade for a player in free agency yet.

Business as usual for us.

If they do nothing on defense in FA, then both Tomlin and Colbert can pretend like there were no options and then blame lack of talent for failure.

The man loved that rib festival. Drooled into the microphone over it every preseason.
